I have a question should we forgive ourselves from a really bad sin. Even though it is hard. Because I know God forgives me but I find it hard to forgive myself

@rigby_ann Well, I don’t want to be harsh, but whenever you think God forgives you, but you don’t forgive yourself, it’s like thinking you are greater and holier than God. I understand feeling guilty, but if God has forgiven you, then you should move on from it and strive towards a greater relationship with God.

What I do is go back to the image of Jesus on the cross and remember that He already paid for my sins. Then I remember how He rose, left my sin in hell and came back alive. Continue to pray to God to help you forgive yourself. It does take time, but He will surely help you. Let Him embrace you and continually receive His forgiveness. Hope that helps.
