ASK US ANYTHING - Is there a difference between road salt in the Ausable River and Mirror Lake?

Thanks ARA for the overview on how much road salt is entering the ecosystem in the Lake Placid area. Road salt does make the roads safer in the winter but just slowing down and reducing the amount of salt applied might be the better alternative.
