I like the Dell Latitude 7440 (from a former financial underwriter). It has all the ports, single core performance quick punch, and a nice professional look to it. One of the better laptops for data analysts using Power BI. Only thing missing is the new ARC GPU for gaming while traveling. Hopefully the Dell 7460 will have it. Just want to play Forza Horizon 5.

If your looking for the ability of upgrades, the 5000 series is the way to go for now.

The 5550 is more workstation like - more horsepower but also heavier and bulkier.

I use the 7440 daily and i cannot recommend it due to heat throttling issues. Sometime it slows down and checking with hwinfo, the cpu package hits the 100 C degrees limit. No dust or dirt is blocking the fan, it is just too weak. This should not happen to a business notebook.
