@@SerBucky id like to see a threat marker flag as well, like all other resource markers. Villagers would automatically avoid the threat marker radius, and ignore all resources within it.

I am impressed that you managed to get 5 cottages built by Day 18. I'm not sure how you did that, or what part of how I do things would have to change to do that. I also note that your village is a lot more spread out than mine, and that seems to me to slow things down... Anyway, good job!

Yes, I built spread out in this game because I always build so compacted and it became a pain to navigate.
