Hybrid versions are 5-10 lakhs or 40-60% more expensive upfront than their non-hybrid or smart-hybrid versions. Also, the big battery packs eat into the boot space. Only people with high running should consider hybrids at present. Tomorrow, if GRAP or pollution norms become more stringent, hybrids will make more sense. But then we don't know how battery costs and maintenance costs of hybrids will play out in long run too. As of now, smart hybrids or petrol still make more sense for user with average usage, especially those buying on loan.

Sir, you told a word "Farzi Hybrid", then the earlier version of Maruti Brezza had Smart Hybrid in ZXI+ model. Do you mean this car isn't a hybrid car for you. Sir I don't have the budget of 25-30 lakhs so I'm happy with mild/smart hybrid option. Maruti Brezza with smart/mild hybrid used to give average of 20-23 kmpl in highway and 16-18 kmpl in city driving but after Maruti removed hybrid option from Maruti Brezza ZXI+ model, the average dropped to 17-18kmpl in highway and 13-15 kmpl in city driving. Cab you make out the difference? I would have planned for Maruti Brezza in mid 2024 if Hybrid option in Manual Transmission would still be there but as Maruti removed the Hybrid option from it's ZXI+ model, so searching for new car, in your words FARZI HYBRID as I don't have a big fatty budget to buy ASLI HYBRID car. Your these pinching words are just depressing for all of us atleast for me. I'm happy with mild/smart hybrid car as my want is 20+ kmpl easily. I can go for Alto but want to buy a spacious car. Congrats for your suggestions.

Amit ji, Maine kitne baar live session me aapse sawal poocha lekin aapne kabhi mera sawal nahi liya. Thak kar ab mai sawal nahi poochta, lekin aapka video zaroor dekhta hun. Aaj bhi ek sawal pooch Raha hun - jharkhand state me electric charging infrastructure kab tak develop honge? Mai Mahindra XUV 400 lene ki soch raha hun. Monthly running 3000-3500 km. Long drive (350-400km oneside) trip bhi mahine me 2-3 lagte hai.

All depends upon your highway...its not a government job...as most of petrol pump already installed EV chargers...it always good to charge at home then charging station..
