Hey…I’m like you in that I have a ‘thorn in my side’ that I struggle with on a daily basis and that I will likely struggle with until the day I die. If my life was absolutely perfect I wouldn’t need God. But because I have struggles, just like everyone else on this planet, I need God to help me. He can use our pain and struggles in ways we can’t even see yet. Just remember God loves you, He listens to you and is always in control even when life seems out of control. Like Cliffe said in the video, even he does not know why God chooses to heal some and not others and illustrated how Jesus was the same. But we know He can heal if He so chooses. He can see the bigger picture whereas we can’t and as long as you keep your faith and trust in Him, you will have the strength to endure 🙏🏽

*Isaiah* *53* *~* 'Behold, my servant shall act wisely; he shall be high and lifted up, and shall be exalted. As many were astonished at you - his appearance was so marred, beyond human semblance, and his form beyond that of the children of mankind - so shall he sprinkle many nations; kings shall shut their mouths because of him; for that which has not been told them they see, and that which they have not heard they understand. Who has believed what he has heard from us? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? For he grew up before him like a young plant, and like a root out of dry ground; he had no form or majesty that we should look at him, and no beauty that we should desire him. He was despised and rejected by men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and as one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, everyone, to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he opened not his mouth. By oppression and judgment he was taken away; and as for his generation, who considered that he was cut off out of the land of the living, stricken for the transgression of my people? And they made his grave with the wicked and with a rich man in his death, although he had done no violence, and there was no deceit in his mouth. Yet it was the will of the Lord to crush him; he has put him to grief; when his soul makes an offering for guilt, he shall see his offspring; he shall prolong his days; the will of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. Out of the anguish of his soul he shall see and be satisfied; by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant, make many to be accounted righteous, and he shall bear their iniquities. Therefore i will divide him a portion with the many, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong, because he poured out his soul to death and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of many, and makes intercession for the transgressors'.

Ecclesiastes 12: 13-14 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all. For God will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, Whether good or evil. 1 John 5:1-5 Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world. You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error. 1 Corinthians 15:50-56 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed- in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” “O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?” The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 8:37-39 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

@Our Savior 🤔 The notion of Sodom and Gomorrah burning ‘forever’ isn’t what I read in the text… 🧐 maybe you get it some place else? Genesis 19:23-29 The sun had risen on the earth when Lot came to Zoar. Then the LORD rained on Sodom and Gomorrah sulfur and fire from the LORD out of heaven. And he overthrew those cities, and all the valley, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and what grew on the ground. But Lot's wife, behind him, looked back, and she became a pillar of salt. And Abraham went early in the morning to the place where he had stood before the LORD. And he looked down toward Sodom and Gomorrah and toward all the land of the valley, and he looked and, behold, the smoke of the land went up like the smoke of a furnace. So it was that, when God destroyed the cities of the valley, God remembered Abraham and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow when he overthrew the cities in which Lot had lived.

The deplorable state of Christianity in the tenth century, arose from ignorance that gave rein to, superstition and immorality. Christianity became so strong, that learning, became proportionately weak. It had been sinking lower and lower during each succeeding epoch, and in the tenth century it reached its deepest stage of degradation. The ignorance of this barbarous age, and under the influence of Christianity, the literature and teaching, of Greece; which, brought us Pythagoras, Socrates, Plato, Euclid, Zenophon, and many other mighty ones, had sunk. In the West, things were worse, and instead of Rome-Pagan, that spread light and civilization (Rome of Cicero, of Virgil, of Lucretius), we have Christianity: the spreader of darkness, and degradation. Nothing could be more deplorable, than the darkness that reigned in the western world during the tenth century. In the seminaries of learning (such as they were), the seven liberal sciences were taught in the most unskillful and miserable manner, by the monks, who esteemed the arts and sciences no further than as they were subservient to the views of superstition. The clergy were, for the most part, composed of a most worthless set of men, shamefully illiterate and stupid, ignorant, more especially in religious matters, equally enslaved to sensuality and superstition, and capable of the most abominable and flagitious deeds.

Just an observation on the comments. I suspect I see more comments complaining about how others are not answering their questions than anything else. Here's a newsflash. No one is entitled to an answer just because they ask a question. If you aren't getting answers, you should consider the possibility that your questions are stupid. Sometimes if you're in a wood, you can't see anything else but other trees.. and if you've lived you life in a wood, that's all you know. I'm guessing a lot of Christians in here have lived their lives in a Christian bubble. If you're able to step out of that bubble... my goodness, there is a whole other world out there. It's a bit like us thinking the Sun revolved around us .. and that would seem a logical conclusion .. until the likes of Copernicus and Galileo (and others) figured it out. Hey Stuart, another answer to why Jesus had to die for sin instead of just forgiving us is because if he didn't do the act of paying for sin he would have been condoning it. It's the same as some one stealing from you and you saying it's ok I forgive you. Without the punishment for the crime or the returning of the stolen item they will only continue to sin. So God knew the best way to forgive the sinner while also putting sin to death. This is why it says he who knew no sin 'became' sin. Without paying the debt of sin it wouldn't have been forgiveness it would have been condoning.

A wrong assumption is that God heals all who are prayed for. Even the Bible records examples of Christians - even apostles - who were not healed, despite prayer. Another wrong assumption is that every Christian has the gift to heal people. The Bible clearly says that this is not so.In addition, another is that somebody can be found who is "deserving." According to the Bible, none of us is worthy of being saved. However, God, in His love, saves the undeserving through His mercy. God does not heal everybody of every infirmity in this life.
