Hi dr. I want to ask this diagnosis of me( FINDINGS: There is a distended T1 hyperintense tubular structure seen in the right adnexa extending posteriorly to the midline and to the left measuring approximately 10.9 cm x 5.8 cm transaxially and 9.6 cm caudocranial. Appearances are in keeping with a hematosalpinx. It is challenging to say whether it is the right or left fallopian tube that is dilated. No enhancing nodule or solid component within the lesion to suggest neoplasm. No thick enhancing rim to suggest abscess but superadded cannot be excluded entirely. The ovaries are not seen separate to the hematoma hydrosalpinx and appearances are unremarkable. Right ovary measures approximately 2.8 cm x 2.8 cm transaxially, left measures 2.9 cm x 1.8 cm. A C-section scar can be seen in the anterior uterine segment with a small fluid-filled niche. The junctional zone is a poorly defined and is mildly thickened measures 11 mm in maximum thickness. No asymmetric thickening of the uterine wall and no myometrial cysts. There is trace fluid in the pelvis, predominantly anterior to the uterus. Unremarkable appearances of the urinary bladder and visualized rectum. No marrow signal abnormality in the pelvis. IMPRESSION: Large hematosalpinx , no clear cause for which is identified on MRI. Borderline thickening of the junctional zone, but no additional features of adenomyosis. I note the patient is already under the care of gynecology.)
