im honestly very happy that robert englund wasnt casted as corenthal, evan's dad playing the role just made it feel that much more real, like all of these people are just normal ass dudes not actors or anyone youd be likely to be have seen really helped with the immersion and the acting itself was fantastic as evans dad, likely very easily for him, managed to really portray this dad who was just trying his best to fight these demons and save his children i even think the over the top bits of corenthal sold this even more
