I ignore them and change my friends from the desi community to international , i worked work part-time and casual jobs. It changed my mindset. Today i have my dream job but my classmates are still working as jobs which they were working on student visa. Please find friends from different communities it will help you a lot. Good luck.🎉

Pakistani Uber drivers in Australia can be quite intrusive. As soon as you get into their cab, they bombard you with personal questions about your visa status, marriage, job, and more. Drivers from other backgrounds don’t usually behave this way, they’re hopeless unfortunately.

You don't stop pursuing someone simply because there are red flags; what truly matters are dealbreakers. A red flag signals a potential issue, but a dealbreaker is something that fundamentally clashes with your values or life goals. For example, marrying someone 10 years older than me may be a dealbreaker, but their age alone is not necessarily a red flag. It’s essential to be clear about what you want in life and to stand firm in your morals and values. While compromising on minor differences is part of relationships, sacrificing your core beliefs or long-term compatibility is unwise. Recognizing and respecting fundamental incompatibilities will lead to healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

Saari & Maasi: Totally understand where the kid is coming from, but its better to let it be between the two sisters. However, I really hope your motger asked for your father's permission. From a woman's perspective who shares things with her sisters: 1_maybe both sisters shared a bond before marriage (that you are unaware of) and it doesn't matter to her at all. 2_ your mother is kind but maasi is chalaaku maasi & knows how to manipulate her sister (as Junsid has said) 3_ Women dont like bad-nazar on their things... I know so many people around me who just gave away their favourite clothes to people who were eyeing them ( pata chal jata hai k kaun khushi se tareef ker rha hai aur kaun jealous hai aur buri nazar se dekh rha hai) These people are Queens of their own lives. They are big hearted & don't want bad vibes attracting them. Woh apni cheez de k bad-nazroon aur manipulative logo se jaan chhura letey hain. Absolute winners (aur uttran pehennay wala samajhta hai k wo jeet gaya)

On the Middle East issue, you brought up great points that these issues are complicated and need nuance, not black and white thinking. There have been countless innocent deaths in Sudan, and Yemen as well. What’s happening in Palestine is heartbreaking, but let’s not pick and choose which suffering is our suffering. Erdogan calling Netanyahu “Hitler” is the from the same turkey that doesn’t even acknowledge the Armenian genocide which killed almost a million people. So as Junaid said, understand perspective, long-term thinking and international geopolitics to understand complicated topics like this.

Regarding the documentary question. I have the experience to share, recently I went to the Bahrain International Airshow, and different countries brought their commercial or military aircraft. Pakistani and the US were among the participants. The US Air Force was showing their aircraft like the C130 which they use to perform humanitarian missions, a flight surgeon and other medical staff were showing and explaining how they perform emergency procedures, etc. They also had an A10 Warthog (which they did not sell to any other country even their allies) they were allowing people to sit in the plane and take pictures. Whereas the Pakistani JF 17 was also on display but you could not sit in it. There is also a KZbinr (retired USAF officer) by the name of Sam Eckholm who makes videos on different equipment used by the US military.

Junaid, I agree that brothers/sisters have a special bond and that you would not hesitate to give your brother something that belongs to you, if he expresses a liking for it. However, you must draw a line when it comes to gifts given to one by one's significant other. When your spouse gives you something as a token of their love for you, then regardless of its cost, that gift acquires a significance greater than the other items that belong to you. This is especially true in South Asian homes where spouses don't usually give gifts to each other. When you give away a rare token of love, your spouse can see it as a sign that you value/love your sibling more than them. So never ask them if you can give it away and even if the spouse gives you permission to give it, don't take them at their word.

It seems like many Pakistani communities abroad, including those in Denmark, remain deeply connected to politics back home. Even after living here for years, they often focus more on Pakistani news and talk shows rather than engaging with local Danish politics. Whenever I talk to my father in Pakistan, he always asks if I’ve seen a certain political talk show, and I have to tell him I don’t follow Pakistani politics much. It’s interesting how strong that connection remains, even from afar.

Although the mistahe was that the protestors should not have gone home etc. my 2nd point is this idea of Muslom Unity. it never happed in the times of out Prophet, and the early generations. we will have to waot for Allah to send the leader to do that (which will only work for a period of time - then go back to how we are).
