For those who never knew: Danny was supposed to have a daughter but she passed away sending him down his path of drug and alcohol abuse. This song was his defining moment in overcoming that. Knowing that much about him, it really gives this song a whole new meaning, you can hear the torment in his voice. "The tears have left a blur like I can't explain, the pain has left a hole in which my heart should've been." But with that, he wasn't going to let this circumstance take away his potential. Hence " I'm back and better than ever." Truly an incredible message and an emotional story behind the song showing that as people we can choose who we are destined to be.

I love this song, both the metal and rock versions. Amazing vocal range for only being 23. I was worried earlier this year about him coming back, but he's BETTER THAN EVER! Danny's got an amazing scream, but he needs to let more of his singing show cuz that's where he shines. Not many vocalists who have done to their voice what Danny has done, none of them sound as good as he does. Although, I have to say Moving On is probably my favorite song of theirs of all time.

Conner Smith I'm quite aware about the difference I can tell the difference between bands like Parkway drive and thy art is murder and I can tell you now Danny didn't sing like a metalcore singer in stand up and scream those raspy highs and lows were deathcore. The guitars might have been metalcore and the lyrics but his singing was definitely not metalcore. Also considering the synth they used they could be considered post hardcore

It's funny. When I was 17-21 I preferred Reckless & Relentless, from about 21 till I was 23, I heavily identified with From Death To Destiny when someone who was my dad died, and I lost all motivation. Now, at 25, I see things more clearly with See What's On The Inside. You really do change more than you think you do, and you let go of a LOT of things in life holding you back. I had to tell my mom that I resented her, just to forgive her. Give Danny credit for being honest with himself about his life and what he's going through.

It has been a year since this album released. and I can't believe still arguing about their new stuff. How they changed, Their new sound is bad, They prefer previous albums, blah blah blah... Just, Shut The Fuck Up And Listen to to the music. If you hate it, leave it. Fucking simple as that!
