This caption is so misleading and Western Medical Schools are more vigorous in my opinion.

I am a nurse and have worked both in the Philippines and US. Based on my experiences, doctors in the US rely diagnostic imqging before they can make diagnosis. Like for example, appendicitis. US doctors rely on CT scan image to diagnose patients while Philippine doctors can diagnose a patient with appendicitis by merely palpating the belly.

Maybe because CT scan is readily available in the US,and it gives a more definitive diagnosis?Palpation alone and diagnosing appendicitis through palpation is the old way, before CT scan was available, maybe?

@@yraglareb8741which one is more definitive in diagnosing appendicitis, today's ct scan or palpation?would you rather be diagnosed by palpation or imaging?

@@user-xs8re2oy7i The answer is obvious. Only an idiot would say the old way is better. It's like asking which car is faster "A Bugatti or Jeep"
