Interesting video. I'm Mongolian and I must say I like at least the rituals and the practices of the shamans. We lost much of the knowledge about the tradition, but somehow some older people carried it on till now. Shamanism in Mongolia is just another form of spirituality of humanity, like any religion.

I am amazed how candidly Indigenous Mongols speak about Shamanism, in Canada's Plains Cree Culture it is taboo to discuss Spirituality, or Deities to outsiders, and of course they all refuse to disclose to Caucasian Tribes. However, we believe that Siberia does have bonafide Shamans. This is the point here, real or voices or are the voices coming from the Human. And hearing such Power is beyond the Mindsets to understand how true Spiritualism without ever seeing actual deities like the Sun Speak to a Community. Among our Plains Tribes the Cree people who have real connection with Shamans and the Spiritual World, this relationship is still real and not even the simplest rituals are ever Recorded. The last thing is Survival, what we are seeing is the chosen people can be Lawyers, Doctors, Teachers, etc.

Hi Frances, I found you through Dante's channel anyway, I just wanted to share this with you, I have begun practicing the ways of my ancient Turkic ancestors mainly Cuman and Azeri from Iran and Eastern Europe. We have always used frankincense and esfand to protect and cleanse the home. I must thank my grandmother, she has always practiced some form of ancient shamanic traditions, that she learned from her mother. Tonight my ancestor lead me in a short but amazing ritual to cleanse my room and I uttered without control "komor rom ik koru" which I then plugged in google translate "the age of gloomy ruins" He said other things that are now blurry to my memory, but it turns out to be Hungarian my ancestor used me as a vessel to communicate the truth; brothers and sisters and all be safe in these dark times and protect yourselves! I believe I might have this ancestor who was a black shaman of sorts during the Cuman Kipchak confederation period that entered Hungary.

Hi Mike. Great to have you here. Dante is such an important and dear person in my life. 💚. This is a wonderful story. Thanks for sharing it here! I can relate. I'm actually Hungarian in my ancestry and hope to get there in the next while to perhaps pick up some lost pieces from around those lands. So your story here is especially touching to me. By the way - I just started posting first season content on a podcast this week. It's more lighthearted and personal storytelling than what I share here. CHeck it out if you or your ancestors feel called to it. 🥰. open.spotify.com/show/37LRG0r0uBdXkf2xHmlDhj?si=5b3aa61cf3eb493d

Many of our practices of shamanism or common superstitions also came from ancient Zoroastrianism, which we used to practice a long time before Buddhism, Xtianity, and Islam came to our land a thousand years ago.

Yeah I think the shaman path is at an interesting turning point, from the traditional way of being, what i call a priestly process ( they would go into a trance on your behalf ) to a more self working process of the person themselves trying out the plants to gain the visions of the machine elves and ancestor spirits. This is probably an evolution that it had to make after being broken down in Soviet/Capitalist realism's attempt to stop our individual paths from affecting buisiness/political environment ( i think real shamanism is a very political activity ) that changes our perceptions and makes us tougher to brainwash into consumer culture .... thanks for your great vid and hello from Australia
