Correct. BPO is not literally meant for call centre. Infosys, Tata, Mahindra tech, IBM, Wipro, Accenture, even top financial service firm like PWC, JP Morgan chase, EY, Deloite, KPMG, Morgan Stanley, WellsFargo they also considered as bpo industry where outsource the business. Call centre is just process under BPO Thanks

It's sad that our Mp's and politicians are silent for the people if we develop Tourism sector we could generate income from our own state and homes. There is nothing bad working in BPO there is good income but instead of been stuck in a wary future,( anything can happen in the market Economic crisis)I guess most of them have a degree,with the income we Earn from BPO we could acquire more skills there are thousands out there in the internet we don't have to be in person to learn today. If we run after money we will chase money forever instead good for a good Mentors money will follow you. Let our people shine 💪🏿 😢

As a former employee of Accenture. I’m voluntarily unemployed now for personal reasons. Pros - Good money, enhance your skills, opportunity meeting people from all walks of life, improve communication and typing skills, you don’t have to beg money to parents and you learned how to appreciate every job not like people back home that’s unemployed and judge people who’s actually working. Cons: Night shift, pressure, office politics, seeing office wife husband ( and you can’t tell their wife husband about it).

There's a lot of scope to grow and climb the ladder if you have good connections . If you have other special certification or has technical, finance and business administration qualification you can get very good jobs with a high salary. People in northeast just address MNCs as Call centre because they do not know the inside out. It's different once you get in. I'm not saying it's the best job , but it all depends on where you are in life and discover your interest.
