I always appreciate a man’s confidence when he asks me out. I know it takes a lot of courage. If I say no I’m very polite and thank him for asking. I give major kudos to men who ask women out. Chivalry is very attractive. 🎉

You make it sound a lot easier than it is. I am almost 70 and have always felt panic when asking a woman out, even when it was a sure thing. I was 21 before I even had a date because of this. If they say "no", it feels like rejection to me, and that is a killer of self esteem. Then the ones who do go out with you find ways to break your heart.

I’m sorry you got that lesson wrong so long ago never figured it out. I truly appreciate when somebody rejects me. As long as they’re not mean about it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think a “broken heart” isn’t that hard to survive. Also, expect more of yourself and less of others, works well for me.
