The man with the sumo FTW. I just got back from Japan and I visited the watch store right in the Seiko building (with the clock tower) in Ginza. As I was browsing for Grand Seikos, the staff noticed my SARB017 Alpinist. Unfortunately, I did not find any Grand Seiko that I wanted but I managed to find and buy on impluse an SSC947 Speedtimer "Pogue" homage in Osaka.

There’s no way that Invicta was 200 bucks, unless he got ripped off. 4 years ago you could get the Pro Diver series for quite a bit less than 100 bucks. I paid 62 for the all gold plated version with the black dial and about 82 for the Blusey Two Tone with the blue sunburst dial, which I’ve bought about 6 months after the first one. The Pro Diver series used to be the king of bang for your buck, but since the price went up to over 100 bucks the new king is Steeldive. I bought a Submariner Clone from Steeldive, with better specs than the Pro Diver for 68 bucks on AiExpress. 300 meters of water resistance, sunburst dial, applied indices, AR coated sapphire crystal, lumed ceramic bezel insert and a NH35 movement. What more does one want?

@@anamorph If you only associate nice watches with Rolex, then this is your problem. The point of those videos is not to show ultra expensive watches/Rolex but different people and what they wear. You have watches ranging from Invicta to A. Lange und Söhne. Its cool to see a guy wearing and enjoying his Invicta, just like the other one is enjoying his Breguet. This is leaps and bound more interesting than another "Rolex" channel.
