I have colleagues who are paying Rs50000 a month for 2 BHK, Rs80000 a month for 3 BHK in Marathalli -Varthur area. The rent in gated communities are highest and the lowest in independent houses. It depends on the locality, transport convenience, amenities in the society and how posh the neighbourhood is.

Most of the Bachalore have set this for owners. Many owners in whitefield know that 3-4 ppl can share n they'll get huge rents. At 12th Min the boy has said it right. I'm staying in south Bangalore n changed house 2ce just bcz owner wanted to increase rent all of a sudden by like 25%. He had to forgo 3 months rent to only find some1 at 15% higher rent. The new guy was my friend only. Biggest disadvantage other than high rent is deposits.

Bangalore is a very big city, most of these guys in this video live either near the metro, tech hubs, or in posh areas hence they are paying such high rents. There are places in Bangalore where you can easily find 2 bhk for 12 to 15k, 1 bhk under 10k. The trick is to know the city. Also, people who make the most amount of money are techies in startups

I suggest looking for a 1BHK in a stand alone building, if you’re really lucky and search enough, you’ll get a decent enough space for 15K, or if you are fine living in PG then there are Co-live and Stanza Living available which provide good facility with decent food. Once you get a hike or switch to other company and earn over 1 lakh per month then you can opt for 2 BHK 🙂, thats what I did.

I am born and brought up in Bengaluru, idk how people tell the rents are high. We have always lived in rented houses all of them were 2 BHK and we never paid more than 16-17k a month for like over 20 years. On the other hand when I went to Chennai for an interview it costed me around ₹5k for just one day excluding the travel costs. It was just an average room to freshen up and leave forget sleeping. I felt that was way too expensive, The shocking thing till today is I drank a cup of coffee in a street side hotel and paid ₹46 fk..

Yes. Chennai is very expensive. We can not eat street side food, darshini or mess food like in Bangalore because it's usually not clean. So we need to rely on hotels like Sangeetha, saravana bhavan which are actually good but expensive. Outskirts like Avadi, Ambattur are cheaper rent wise but food expenses are still the same. Grocery is also expensive compared to Bangalore.

Best place to stay in Bangalore is Electronic City. If want to know why live there for sometime will understand. 1st - Food. You get everything in this world can offer round the clock. 2nd - Connected with entire Bangalore from all the ways. Even if you want to go Tamil Nadu or other states without hassle. 3rd - New Metro connectivity starting in 2 months. 4th - Like minded people 5th - Major companies Tech and Industrial 6th - Neat and clean roads. Good maintaince. 7th - New Party pub locality with 100s of joints. 8th - HSR Koramangala is very near. 9th - Airport as usual whatever time it takes from anywhere in Bangalore same time but with round the clock connectivity of BMTC and Cabs. 10th - The Name.
