I’m Catholic and still Catholic but I have a Muslim friend and she’s a great friend and I have a Muslim idol Sinead O’Connor and she she converted to Islam before she died and it it was a long journey to get to acceptance of her wearing her job I remember I had prejudice towards it. I had hate towards her wearing her hijab. I was really upset. I was really mad. I was really angry with her at the beginning before she died but overtime I learned to love her with her hijab on, and although I have many beautiful post pictures of her, or without her hijab on I lean towards posting pictures of her with her hijab on when I’m posting pictures of her with my poems that I write dedicated to her I lean more towards posting pictures of her with her job on an IA. I never thought I would, and head for me. I’m a devout Catholic and I believe in the Catholic faith. i’m blessed to have my Muslim friend. I am blessed to have my Muslim idol Sinead O’Connor, and she is my poetry teacher. She is my idol and princess as well and a role model in my life and how I love her with her pyjamas on and I never thought I would actually ever say that because I had so much anger towards Sinead for becoming Muslim for wearing the hijab and all of that but I’d love her with it on. In fact, I love the photos of her with it on IG rather prefer to post photos of her with Ron I even put pictures of her with her hijab on more than I thought I would and I feel like I have come to accept her more and even though she’s passed on now I feel like I accept her more with her her job on, which is really weird to say I never thought I would ever say that, but I actually find her very beautiful with her hijab on and I love when I see her her job on him and pictures of her with it on and she just looks so beautiful and it is so hard to say but I feel like I’ve come to accept her completely with her hijab on, which is so weird to say that’s a devout Catholic. It’s just like wow I’ve never thought I’d get there at all. I never thought. I.e. would except her with her job on Finder‘s Beach beautiful with it on and see her as I thought you know once she put the job on I thought you know what I want to saw her as as my idol as my role model as my princess as my poetry teacher. Most importantly, I thought all of that would go away and I thought oh great, so should I eat covered up her head and now everything I saw her as well just go away and I’m just gonna see your ass you know she’s nothing to me anymore and then just to give her up and then find a new singer to see as my idol my role model by poetry teacher, but I opened my heart and was like you know what now let’s see you know me maybe overtime I will still see Sinead even with her her job on maybe overtime I will find her just as beautiful and strong as I did when she was not wearing a hijab and I look at pictures of her with her hijab on and I think wow she’s so beautiful. I look past it and I go. Wow that’s still Sane that’s still my idol is still my role model. That’s still my poetry teacher that’s still my princess all the things she wants was without it on she now is still those things with her job on and I see her so beautifully with it on and I just think wow she’s so beautiful and I thought I’m going to see a total different person but I still see Sinead. as the idol, the role model, the princess, the poetry teacher that she was and still is but in the beginning when I first saw her with her her job and I looked at it and I thought she can’t be my princess anymore. She can’t be my idol she can’t be my role model. She can’t be my poetry teacher. She’s not Sinead anymore. she’s gone, she’s a totally different person. This is not Sinead anymore and I thought to myself she’s gone I can’t accept her like this. No I I can’t love her anymore like this. I can’t have her with her hijab on be my idol and my role model and my princess and my poetry teacher. No just know and I remember having justice resentment towards it and how she’s so upset about it but then I was listening to the Loris Baz music and I remember I was so upset about it and I remember my mom asked me why I was so upset and I said Sinead converted to Islam and I can’t accept her like this. She wears a hijab now and it’s just weird. and my mom sat me down because she could tell I was so upset and she said well you can do one or two things you can choose to no longer love her no longer see her as what you want saw her ass and get a new singer and replace her or you can learn and grow your heart in and maybe overtime you will except her with her hijab on just wait and give it time and I’m like OK and I remember even in dreams I just felt I was being told give it time maybe you’ll accept her eventually and so I did I gave it time and I’m glad I did because right before she died I finally excepted her with her hijab on and now I post a lot of photos with Sinead with her hijab on and I think she’s so beautiful and I think like she’s a beaut, my beautiful idol and my role model in my poetry teacher and I can still see all of that even with her her Hijab on and I’m a devout Catholic and I love her so much and now I have a Muslim friend. Her name is Peyton and I just I went from hate anger to the peace and acceptance of Sinead with her hijab on.

I recently converted to Islam in April this year and have been struggling internally having breakdowns unsure about being with my boyfriend. We both are going through a lot mentally and haven’t been the best partners in the relationship. I’ve been feeling so stuck and the spiritual warfare is so real. I’ve been wanting to embrace Islam wholeheartedly but I’ve been scared to and he isn’t willing to go on his spiritual journey just yet. Inshalllah I hope he does soon and maybe we can find our way back together. I think I have the strength to finally let him go and focus on Allah and myself. Allah is all-knowing and all-seeing. “Whoever conceals the faults of his Muslim brother, Allah will conceal his faults on the Day of Resurrection. And whoever exposes the faults of his Muslim brother, Allah will expose his faults even by revealing those he committed in (the privacy of) his home.”
