Todd speaks the truth. I have a 1993 Newell 316. I started restoring it when it was 20 years old. I called Newell numerous times with questions and to order parts. I talked directly to guys who remember building my coach. (It was originally built for the Steve Miller Band). Even though I didnt buy directly from them they treated me very well. I also had to call their weekend emergency number once while I was traveling and had a problem. They called me back ASAP and offered help just as though I had bought it new from them. I will definitely be calling Newell when I'm ready for my next coach!

Good morning Andrew. What a pleasure to witness your development. I have been faithfully watching your videos for over a year now. You are growing and flourishing at a much higher rate now. The "from the hip" method is going away. Replacing it with planning, and systems to produce the highest quality video you can provide. This was one of your very best interviews yet! While the guest was a large part of that, you should be commended. Thank you for what you do. Enjoy your holidays,, and thank you again. 😊

My father loved the Newell family. He bought 3 or 4 new ones. He just thought they were the best. He once drove 1800 miles to have a wall thermostat that anybody could replace. I asked him about it and he just said “I was ready for a road trip.” I used to tease him he was like the Lab in front of the wood stove. I told him he would get off the mat and greet other owners. He owned and used his last Newell until he was 87.

Outstanding video Andrew, lots of very useful info if you're looking to purchase a high end coach. Sounds like Newell is at the head of the pack in service,and if you're gonna spend $2 million on a coach,you want,and expect nothing but the best in every facet of that coach,especially service. Keep up the great work.

Love these in depth interviews, learn so much about service. Unfortunately, unless I win the lottery I am going to stick with buying a production coach. Would love to see you do a sit down with Entegra.....(I guess you know by now, that will be the production coach for me). Love your videos.

I remember an episode where Brian P said that a new coach was 2 years unlimited miles warranty and a used was 2 years and 24,000, i don't know who was correct on the warranty question, Newell always has been my dream coach, so i watch everything about Newell's coaches hoping one day when I retire to have mine built to my specifications

@deanstoops264 жыл бұрын
Mitch Mills , I will probably never be able to justify the cost of a new Newell. I am thankful that there are other people who can afford one though because every new Newell becomes a more affordable used Newell. The great support Newell offers makes an old used Newell more desirable for potential owners on the used market who are not enjoying a "millionaires life"'
@russellpottenger85844 жыл бұрын
Great points you make Dean. I’d much rather buy a well maintained factory serviced 10-15 year Newell than a new upper tier production fiberglass coach.

Newell should pay a guy like Andrew to record and edit the customer’s walkthrough into a video project that is delivered to the customer. That may help the customers retain/relearn the information during the walkthrough. It would have to be a template that could be put together by a computer so they could have it when they leave the factory.

Andrew, I remember visiting the facility and speaking with Brad Pitt. He spoke of the NASCAR heritage and that they provided a 2-year warranty with unlimited miles. He used both Newmar and Foretravel for comparison where these types of drivers can use up the included miles well short of the warranty period. Is that something I mixed up or was this a fact that has changed? This is one of the most unique warranty feature I had ever heard of and I as a west coast resident, I considered that to be a deal maker for me.

If you are a multi-millionaire and want a bus Newell and a Prevost conversion are your two top options. Newell offers excellent service and support. That type of support costs a lot of money. The old adage is if you have to ask you can't afford it. A bus is a bus and the systems are complicated and need constant attention. It takes a lot of money to keep them on the road. I know that Newell offers great service but there are folk that can work on buses. Close convenient service centers can be problematic with any bus though. Concerning the learning curve, I've owned my Wanderlodge a year now and I am constantly learning the bus. It's that complicated.

Does Newell have an electric coach on the roadmap? Like a train engine that has diesel motors powering generators that drive all electric drive motors.

Mr. Dill ought to take the coach out after they correct anything on the 135 point checklist. Then he can see if his people are doing their job.

ONLY a 2 year/24 thousand mile warranty on a $2.2 million coach is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous! For that much money, I was expecting at least a 5 year unlimited mileage! What is the warranty on other brands?
@RVingwithAndrewSteele4 жыл бұрын
I don't know any RV brands that have a warranty over one year, except Newell Coach.
@johnbloxham90284 жыл бұрын
$2M to buy and only a 2 year warranty? That doesn't sound so great to me. Great support though. But pricing is WAY more than I would ever pay.
