Just keep reading it. Take one topic and read everyday. (It makes a difference) Ask for help from the Holy Spirit. Set ultimatums for yourself. and reward you self later for example (read before you eat) Meet people who also understands it. Remove the fear from your mind. (There is something inside you that’s greater than anything) Teaching helps you understand what you don’t know. Put activities to the weekend so your exam doesn’t get in the way Practice and solve questions so you don’t have to start doing that doing exam. Avoid last minutes reading by paying attention in class. Nothing is too hard… you’re not just interested. Break it down into understandable ways.

Honestly, the first Lady's story about her primary 5 experience resonated with me. I remember when I was in JSS3; I was also struggling academically. This continued through the first and second terms of SS1. However, everything changed during the mid-term tests in the third term. I performed well and was recognized on the assembly ground. This recognition motivated me, and since then, my academic performance has significantly improved. Now, I am excelling in Lagos State University and currently ranked as the best in my class.

I can testify to the part of setback, i remember how in 100 level, I went from 4.56 to 4.85 in second semester, I didn't even realize it until the day a friend told me that she liked me because anytime someone said something negative concerning a course, I'd always counter it with something positive. Our words and minds are really powerful. Coming to 200 level 1st semester, I joined others that were saying things like "omo e don be for me ooo" or I'm in trouble, just so they won't say I'm rubbing things on people's faces, omo I dropped down to 4.68 eishh, since then, I became mindful of my words, not caring what people would say or think. One key thing I do is invite God into everything I do, before reading, I pray, and I use scriptures too and I also remind myself, it's just black and white paper. I'm in my 200 level second semester now, almost done with exams, and I'm pretty sure I'll do better than the last time. Great interview😊
