5:43 I felt him, I have an Apple Watch because it was free but my recent trip to Japan I bought 2 seiko watches and they were plain and simple. Always wanted a Rolex before my 20s but mid 20s I was like it’s not worth it. Then these seikos caught my attention. Discount for being a tourist, tax free, plus a store discount beats any Rolex any day

To the fuck smart watches guy, since you like simplistic watches you might wanna look into the Junkers Bauhaus series. They come with quartz and mechanical movements. The quartz goes for around 300 bucks and the automatics for about 500. Especially the first generations look awesome.

Tokyo and Japan as a whole is the safest I've ever felt in all the countries I've visited which includes first world places like the US, Europe, and Australia. It's literally the only place I feel 100% safe in general. Take advantage of your trip and wear the watches you don't get to enjoy often or whatever you'd like to bring for the experience.

Very safe to wear nice watches in Tokyo, crime is low. One of my friends almost daily wears his $40k Rolex Daytona, and in my office there's a fair few people who daily wear Rolex, GS etc with no issues. Wear in good health friend! Fuck that modded Seiko bro, F that, if you want a Rolex buy a Rolex, if you want a Seiko, be proud wearing a Seiko, wear a Presage, a Seiko 5, Seiko has a lot of beautiful dials. Don’t mod your Seiko into a Rolex, just because you don’t wanna be called out wearing a Fake Rolex, bet if that guy can wear a Fake Rolex without being caught he would. Don’t do that, respect the watch appreciate the Seiko, be proud wearing it. Chances are you’re not doing AP Casio Mod or Seiko Rolex Mod for the mods, you’re just looking an alternative for fake watches, just so people can glance for a second and see you wearing AP and Rolex that aren’t, don’t do that. Much more respectful wearing a Bambino than doing that. Don’t buy watches to flex, buy it for what it is, that Seiko has a history, buy the one you’d cherish, not just as a Fake Status Symbol. I do own a Datejust II 116334 and a Breitling Avenger among others, but I highly appreciate Seiko watches, their Astron that created ‘70s quartz crisis, that revolutionized time keeping. Their Presage with such beautiful dials, rather than flexing, buy a Citizen Forza with Subseconds, enjoy their dials, they’re beautiful.
