Canadian Feds expect 4.9 million people, with expiring visas, to leave Canada in 2025 and polls show 78% of Canadians want this. Why? Canada is the 6th safest country in the world, after a recent downgrade. India is in 82nd place. Why???

Canada needs to adopt the American immigration system with percentage caps of countries where people can come from. If canada is supposed to be "diverse" it needs to actually bring people from all around the world and be in the same numbers as others. You cant just have 90% indian immigrants and 10% others. Thats just an invasion, not immigration.

I have been saying it for sometime that Canada needs a quota system for ALL streams of both permanent and temporary immigration where all the 193 countries and the State of Palestine have an equal share of their folks allowed in. Presently, Canada is being flooded by Indians resulting in open racism and hate towards them. So I agree with your thought. I have even emailed the IRCC minister on this issue.

One of the workers at the fast food Osmos in Oshawa where i usually buy my Shawarma told me she spent $40K for her LMIA so she can come to Canada. I asked her why spend so much money just to come to Canada, why didn’t she invest that money to create a business in India ??? She said it to me it was a stupid decision. Can someone please explain to me how bad things are in India for people to be so desperate to come here ? I thought that india was somehow a developed country, they even have a spatial program to send people to the moon !

not as bad as they portray. These people with their zero skills will get nothing in India. STEM education is very accessible to most and that's what pays the most in India(and there are jobs). But see, no one can be a burger flipper in India and buy a car - that is what Canada offer to these low-skilled students/TFWs. India has a lot to offer, they are just not skilled enough to take it.

The Indian mindset will never change enough to accept independent women. Hence I want to move away from here and settle in a place where neither me nor my son have to feel the mental trauma and just want to be considered normal (cause that is what I hear all day long here in India, that me being a single mom is not normal as if we are a curse to the society). I have a bachelor's degree in fact I was a silver medalist in my University, I scored a CLB 10 on my very first attempt, and 4+ years of work experience in India, I work as a Software engineer in one of the Top MNCs earning among the top 1 %ile and yet I am seeking Canada's PR.

hi, this happened to me too when applying for my mother's extension. I did not upload the forms I downloaded and filled earlier thinking that it saved my time but if I upload it it says error. So what I did is on that LAST PART where you are uploading the forms when you are log in to your IRCC secure account, on the section DOCUMENT NAME- CLICK the Schedule 1-Application for a Temporary Resident Visa Made Outside Canada (IMMM 5257)-download and fill it and save and upload. Same with IMM5708. Download it when you are log in to your IRCC secure account. You might want to delete the older forms that you filled earlier so that you will not be confused. It is a waste of time to re do it again but it works for me. I don't know how to explain it clearly but hope this helps everyone who is having same issues.

Hi Dhankubeir, My wife is on her visitor visa, and she landed on 8th July 2024. She didn't get stamped on her passport, so I guess she can stay here for up to 6 months. But, I applied for her PR through spousal sponsorship on 23rd November 2024 as I am already a PR. So, she can stay here, right ? Until she gets her PR

If I were you I would wait and see how thing go and apply with your spouse. 504 might be a good score after LMIA points reduced. No need to rush the decision right now. Also if you remove your spouse now then you will face the complicated process of sponsorship and who knows what changes might be applied to sponsorship as well later... Wait and see, you have a chance!

For those under C11 categories, 1. start/buy a new business in Canada 2.Develop Business Plan 3. Get C11 approved. 4. Apply for C11 work permit 5. Execute part of business plan. 6. Operate for 12 months. 7. Apply for permanent residence.... Now this category falls under the LMIA exempt category with 200 points been awarded toward thier express entry profile. How do you feel about the removal of these point when in the real sense, those point were the main reason for people investing their hard earned money into Canada economy?
