Was about time for big folks to understand not everyone owns an iPhone and introduce facial mocap solutions for regular folks. Not going to buy, obviously, but cool to see it happening at last

Yes, but it's cheap compared to Faceware. (and a lot more expensive then meta humans!) There are a lot of facial capture options out there. Some better then others, I think they are pricing it compete with Faceware and other high end facial motion capture DCC software packages.

@@juliansestanovich9252 No it isn’t. This is plugin costs $500 + you need their iclone software which is a lot more expensive than Faceware indie license which is $15/mo.

Its 20% more then the iphone addon for iclone. The old one. Faceware is more then triple the price of accuFACE. That has been around for a few years now.

I didn't see anything there on tongue position. Does it handle that? It's an important factor in lip reading.

tongue is corrected with acculips as far as I know. So you do an accuface animation and combine it with the visemes of acculips for better fidelity.
