2. Skardu to Askoli: From Skardu, you will hire porters and guides to assist you in reaching Askoli, which is the last inhabited village before the trek to Concordia and K2. The approximately 70-kilometer jeep ride to Askoli takes around 7 to 8 hours on a rough mountainous road.
3. Trek to Concordia: From Askoli, your trek to Concordia begins. The trail takes you through beautiful valleys, across glacial moraines, and along roaring rivers. This part of the journey can take around 6 to 7 days, depending on your pace. You will pass by picturesque campsites like Jhula, Paiyu, Urdukas, and Goro II along the way, providing breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.
4. Arrival at Concordia: Concordia is a vast glacial junction located at the confluence of the Baltoro Glacier and Godwin-Austen Glacier. This stunning place offers panoramic views of some of the world's highest and most majestic peaks, including K2, Broad Peak, and Gasherbrum massif. Plan to spend a couple of days at Concordia to fully soak in the incredible scenery.
5. Hike to K2 Base Camp: If you wish to get closer to the legendary K2, you can undertake an additional hike from Concordia to K2 Base Camp. You can clearly see under the rocks, soil & Debris the Glacier still exists! Almost like it’s being hidden & covered for a future time when the fresh water will be needed for all of us to servive💞💓🔮

@@Punkster556 It's also closer to the camera. The peaks are a few kilometers apart, and Broad Peak is 560 meters (1,837 ft) shorter than K2. Concordia is at 4,691 meters (15,390 ft). It's more than 10,000 ft up to Broad Peak's summit....really gives an idea of how massive these mountains are if you apply that to the pics here.
