Of the four collector boxes I've seen opened, there have been 3 textured foils and 3 special guests, so the chances of getting at least one of those per box seems pretty good. There was one box which had a special guest and not a textured foil, and this one had a textured but no special guest (unless I missed it), the other two had both

I love profile arts, as an artist they hit home. They have really cool compositions and profiles for the characters. I think people hate them because they want "more" art being done on the card and the blank space hurts their brains... Its called negative space... forces your eyes towards the detail and subject matter. Also I personally like it for humanoid characters because it has an historic grounded vibe... like they existed and someone had to paint them. More for me :D

I don't know how the foiling looks in person so I'm going based on the number, but the second Sorin you pulled was a textured foil. (0470 instead of 0444)

It's good to see these early before the boxes get released. So far I can say they look amazing, but I don't know if most of their value will go down quickly. I can see some of the expensive single variants have sold out, and who knows what their price will be in the near future.

Guess that's rather a pretty bad box value-wise. Even with the inflated presale sticker prices for cards like Labyrinth and the borderless foil fetch this looks like a big L. Let's see what the other 5 boxes tell us! Thanks for providing such crucial information for us (:

@@UndeadxPenguins sorry to disappoint you, but there seems to be a textured in almost each Box. Sorin won't hold $100 once the Set is released. Look at the textured Eldrazi from Double Masters2022, where Collector Boxes only had 4 boosters per box...

Its In nzd so convert it to whatever currency convert it, they said they run an lgs so it's gonna be a little cheaper than what most people buy for also. It's just an expensive product.

Definitely not worth opening. I love playing magic and cracking packs but collector boosters are a problem that cuts out the middle class and when people buy these products it says to wizards that it's OK to cut out individuals or a group of individuals and that to me seems adjacent to classism and I'm not ok with that.

In a capitalist society such as America that's just how it goes we pay to play those who pay get to play those who cannot have to play different games I'm a homeowner but I don't have a boat but that doesn't stop me from going to the lake and fishing and enjoying watching other people's boats you know what I'm saying you can't cut yourself out of a game or exclude yourself just because you feel like the market tops are trying to push you out I play modern I have an eight rack deck a burn deck and a couple others none of them are entirely expensive My eight rack deck the size from the lilies and snaring bridge is like 50 bucks 40 bucks maybe you can still enjoy this game without showing out this kind of money it's nice for people that have that kind of mighty shell out if they want to a good game encompasses all players all perspective newcomers nobody's saying you have to buy these collector packs it's great for those that want them and can afford them but for those who can't you should still think it's nice that they're there for those who can and maybe you'll be able to one day
