The only cards in here I see any play in modern are possibly Sokrates as it has a good body that can't be bolted even when it doesn't have hexproof that gives you a draw engine as well as POSSIBLY Black Market Connections which will be modern legal now due to this set being modern legal. Will it be better than Necrodominance? Probably not, but I could see a deck where the shapeshifters, treasures, or the extra draw being useful in some situations. Negating the draw on necrodominance can be rough, and getting the extra draw for free with sheoldred could just be better. If you don't need the draw, make a treasure or a 3/2 could be huge.

People complaining about a set that was going to be a niche creature type is very goofy. Every reasonable person knew it would be a cheap singles set. Did we forget about aftermath? The boxes sell for $80 now…. I like this set a lot but never expected it to be for everyone nor it being pricey. Thanks for opening, excited to make an AC deck with all the mem frames.

Dont think a lot of cards will hold their value that long. Maybe only some foil etched or texture cards but thats it. Also the 10 card packs are ridiculous.

Lot of hate for this set it seems. Im not a die hard mtg fan so maybe its me but i like this. Idc about "my card value!" These look cool so does fallout and im sure Final fantasy will also and ill be buying that as well. If you dont like it just buy the next set and stop crying its not for you.

The problem is Wizards ruined the game in favor of short term cash grabs from fans of stuff that isn’t Magic. And not buying it will not prevent players of having to deal with it when someone else brings this garbage to the table. THAT is the real issue

Like is it just because players who don't care about mtg outside of "X" Fandom wouldn't play mtg if "X" didn't exist? Idk man I'm looking forward to union arena and it's just a ton of different anime and id love as many different ones to join the game not shit on new players and push them out of the game.

Also this isn't just from the assassin's creed set so again why is this set hated? No one has answered this besides just for a hate for the games and if that's it fine but just don't buy it and who care if you play new players who liked it and joined from it at least you got a new player to the game.

Why have commons when collectors boosters have over saturated U's in the common status, Rares are uncommon and mythics are... No longer mythic because that's what the serialized cards and the like are now.

As someone that's new to mtg and hesitating between all the fallout decks and the Assassins creed bundle. What Fallout deck would you recommend since this isn't as good as I hoped it'd be

@@vahitcantekin2618 as a new player, the Dog meat deck is a good starting deck. My personal favorite is Mothman, but it might be a little confusing for a new player due to Radiation counters, but if it interests you, go for it. It's a really fun and strong deck out of the box

Caesar canbe built into a Token creating Machine, MothMan is an amazing and interesting Mill Strategy that gets better the more you Proliferate. Dogmeat is an amazing Voltron Commander that you can blink to use multiple times a game. Science WAS the weakest of the four,but with the release of new Jeskai Energy Counter starts, it may be one of the best ones.

@vahitcantekin2618 I honestly didn't built Science (not a big blue player) I did Caesar and Dogmeat. But I'm sure if you check the deck out on Moxfield, or here on KZbin, you'll find a good upgrade for the deck. Again, the recent E. Counters Modern Horizons 3 deck runs amazing with it from what I've heard

Nobody. They just printed some Assassin's Creed art then added 2 swords for value, called it 'modern legal' and called it day. I mean there's lazy and then there's this. If Wizards wants to milk products like this, they need to print it at $50 per collector box, which is probably more than it's worth. It's basically just an art card set with 2 playable sword reprints.
