Same. I occasionally still play the singleplayer but it's the casts that draw me in. I can't watch or play SC2. It's too fluid, sleek, and anxiety inducing while BW just gives me this sense of calm and familiarity.

eh its annoying when he makes observations like this, pros dont babysit their units. that's what makes them pros. he lost the bc because he was busy managing his economy/macro doing everything a bad player would be ignoring while they babysit that 1 bc which has already served its purpose costing the zerg gas for scourge.

Seems like late game ZvT swings pretty wildly once zerg get enough pressure off to get an attack to a base. They can do so much with so little with dark swarm in play.

I mean the BCs weren't microed barely at all..unless BCs are moved with the marine/medic/vessel there's not really much point of using them againt a pro zerg player.

wrong, bcs are not meant to be with your army, you send them to the zerg base and forget about them , they serve their purpose costing the zerg gas, which is more important to them than the gas cost of the bc is to the terran. Every pro terran player simply attack moves their bc to the zergs geysers (including flash and light). so unless youre claiming to know better than every pro terran...🙄🙄 @@Ziegfried82

If you see them take the low ground for the third base, it's because either: 1) they want to create incentives for the Terran to attack there to trap their units. 2) He wants to mine out the harder to defend base first. 3) He is very confident he can hold it. Or any combination of the three.

By the way, zerg had better position in the start, if you ask me. Drone and scv count was similar for the first 5 mins. If Terran went exp, the difference would be +10

I always felt like BCs could be good counters to ultras IF you actually use the yamato on them I am by no means a good player but ive seen quite a few games now where the bcs just hover over ultras shooting them for a loooong time. One yamato and suddenly over half their hp is gone.

Terrible use of BCs again, pro terrans should not make these units if they are gonna use em like that. I think it would be better to just mix in siege tank/vulture mines or make extra science vessels at that rate.

wrong, you dont make bcs to fight ground units, you make them to send to the zergs base to tax their apm and gas by forcing them to respond on their own side of the map. the bcs threaten the gas geysers (or tech buildings) which are infinitely the most important thing in zvt. if you make bcs and keep them at your base to fight ultras it means the zerg already has map control and a single swarm counters 200/200 supply of bcs. It just makes zero sense to use them like this. This caster has literally 0 game knowledge despite doing this for so long, its crazy.

BC use was actually great. he killed like 9 extractors with them and a bunch of lurkers and drones and defilers. Zerg needs gas more than P and T so losing the gas reallllly screws with Soma. And as you can see, despite building BC he still was floating over 2k gas most of the game because marinne medic vessel hardly cost any gas. Their entire purpose is to spend excess gas and have them harass and draw attention and maybe kill some drones and extractor while hanging on a difficult to hit spot inbetween bases.

Maybe ghosts with camo and ocular to spot ultrasonics and infested wraiths from a mile away to do the same duty as a spider minion to nuke mounds, dens and extractors for the same effort as afk cruisers. Gets on nerves if you don't immediately spot the ghost before the warning.

I don't think the BC use was good at all here! If he was desperate to dump more gas...mass more vessels or start mixing in siege tanks. Battlecruisers sent on their own seems to have an extremely low win rate.

@@Ziegfried82 the issue is that zerg has a high winrate around the 20-25 minute mark after they have survived the constant aggression from SK terran. It is when the zerg usually gets enough economy going to start spamming Ultralisk, Defiler, ling at different bases. Before 20 minutes terran has a higher winrate. After 25-28 minute Terran again gets a higher winrate than the zerg because they catch up with their upgrades. It is not that BC don't do their job, because they often do. The goal is to send them out, have them attack stuff while almost not paying attention to them, yet the BC requires a lot of attention from the Terran. This gives the terran a multitasking advantage to focus on their bio vessel army while a BC hopefully just kills anything. Going vessel doesn't have this effect because they don't demand as much attention from the zerg but do demand more attention from the terran. Spend extra gas, send out bc and have bc do whatever while you micro the bio vessel.

If you have enough vessels you dont mass more vessels, the human APM can only handle so many irradiates. He built bc's because theyre a 0 brain 0 apm solution to having too much gas. You simply right click them across the map to the zerg's vespene geysers and tax their apm and gas(scourge) to deal with them while you allocate your time and focus to your medic and marine/vessel army. And no you dont go tanks in this build. His usage of BCs was above average this game actually, he lost because he did not defend his bottom base properly and had his reinforcement rally sitting at his natural for too long, probably a warm up game.@@Ziegfried82

what do you suggest these pros do then? spam 10 bunkers near their minerals? you realize a single dark swarm would kill all those bunkers right? and no filling them with firebats is not the answer because if you're that late into the game where a zerg gets a swarm in your base theres going to be ultralisks under it. and the only counter to ultralisks is a critical mass of marines, and how do we get a critical mass of marines? by not wasting money on static D. The best defense in Tvz is a critical mass of medic and marine that can kite away from swarms. Static D does not work and that's why pros dont use it, and if you know so much better then why are you not a pro? @@thisisanewchannel-wd7jl

Hey Falcon! I heard that you tried Fallout New Vegas recently. If I can make a recommendation, A Tale of Two Wastelands combines New Vegas with Fallout 3 so that you can travel between both wastelands and you get all the content from both! Also, TTW interiors adds a bunch of cool locations to explore.

Noob question: would producing a queen or two to infect science vessels (to keep track of where they are) be helpful in countering SKT? I can see how the costs might outweigh the benifits, but I've wondered if it's even been tried.

I'm a huge Zerg fan and ... well. This was very sloppy game. Bad net connection or too many shrooms. It really lefts a bad taste in your mouth when you see both sides to lose lots of units because they don't control them. Zerg win 🎉🎉 but overall bad gameplay, but Falcon's commentary was excellent as always.❤

You have no idea what you're talking about. These are two of the best players in the world. They dont waste their time babysitting single units like falcon does when he's watching. There is too much to do around the map controlling many bases, control groups, economy, macro etc. If you look at the minimap you can see how fast their screens are moving around the map. No human in the world can respond to every unit that is about to die. These players have 300-400 actions per minute. Lets see how you control them with your 50. 😂

This was cringe in many ways. Losing several infantry to ONE LING killing the backline with no reprisal, losing BC's over and over due to not just attack-moving them, not having some BC with the army to yamato the ultras, not re-doing static defenses and re-building choke-points when you could, repeatedly irradiating huge HP boxes like the ultras so they just AOE kill all your SCV's even FASTER (you irradiate them AWAY from your base not in the middle of it) never getting siege tanks to help hold high ground (that all-important base, could have held so much better if those three bunkers choked the access point and had tank support on high-ground to boot, you can drop-ship in more troops or SCV's at need... Not JyJ's best game at all, I'm sure of it.

No you just have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Pros do not babysit their units. The bcs are right clicked the zergs geyser and then forgotten about because their purpose is simply to cost the zerg gas in scourge and tax their apm by forcing them to deal with the bcs on their side of the map, while the terran spends their apm elsewhere, macroing/microing their medic marine army. The entire point of the bcs are simply to buy the terran time and keep them away from his own base because once a swarm gets down on a terran base the game swings heavily in the favor of zerg. You think you're better because you would not lose the BCs but that is actually why you're just bad.
