It's interesting that during a recording session, my fluency for different areas of ASL fluctuates, since I'm super-camera-shy, but it gives me more practice, so it turns a disadvantage into a strength, thank you Howie Seago~ I also get lots of practice signing ship names, and in every video, I have to make decisions on how I would sign different things, and that develops my style.
Also, I noticed that when signing about two parts of something together, my other hand takes on part of the load, and when signing spatially, side-side, the hand on that side takes over for things on that side, interesting. Things coming in from the left are easier to sign with the left hand, and vice versa.
I love the timing of the garbage truck, just the other day a classmate asked how to sign the throw-away pile, and well, you just have to wait for a garbage truck to drive by at that exact moment, to drive the point home, hilarious~
