Yay, a new vid with Cäsar! Also, some "just chatting" vids would be really helpful. I don't have anyone to practice signing with. So I have a hard time identifying the more casual and fast signing. An asl "podcast" would be cool. Anyways, thanks for all the videos. You're an awesome instructor.

Have you checked out Discord? There are some ASL discords. I was on one for a while, and they had casual video practice sessions pretty regularly (or you can just start one at a time that’s convenient for you). People of all different skill levels, and everyone was super patient.

I love the way Cesar not only copies Dr. Vicar's signing, but she also copies his facial expressions so well. It is a good reminder about how important facial expressions are in ASL.

Suzanne, Yes, the sign commonly associated with the concept of "various" is often a good choice for times when you mean variety or various. :)

I always have wanted to learn asl. I took a class many years ago at a adult education center and it was so awful, the only thing we learned was happy birthday to you sentence. It was so disheartening.. my desire to learn hasn’t lessened.

They did daylight savings for the simple reason to make more money. They figured if the time was changed to a certain degree to match with the light reduced it would produce more sales something to that effect I'm not very good at explaining it but that's basically why they do it.
