The theory of petra is true, because no trader or merchant of those centuries has ever mentioned the existence of mecca or ever any one seen mecca while passing through that area, 2ndly mecca was created to increase the power of arab, hence shifting of petra to a place called Mecca was strategically right!

I think Arab used to fight in day time and travel during night up to 10 ,,11 PM and then they would rest in the open sky using tents etc. Meanwhile they might be reciting some poems during night to pass time. That was the Arab, tradion. These poems stared swallowing, taking form of quran. A standard book is not possible without state regulatory authority. Therefore khalifs added and removed material as their political necessati. It happens today also as has been happening in past. It's reason behind orderlessnes of Quran. It took 300 years to take some rigid form. Present form of quran as is well known finalised by Al ajher university cairo Egypt.

Mr ghalib. I have a question, I hop you can answer that. On one occasion you say, there was no prophet Muhammad, and Quran was invented by umwees (sorry for spelling mistake), and the first mention of Muhammad came in tabaris after prophet's 200 hundred years so maybe there was no prophet. If that's the case, how come there are evidences of masjids in the first 100 years of Prophet? If there was no Quran and no Prophet 1400 years ago.

I have posted my questions on four of Dan Gibson’s videos and challenged him to debate me. Last time I checked, he had blocked all comments on those videos. Problem with many “ modern” educated born Muslims is that they suffer from severe IC when it comes to white westerners, even amateurs like Dan Gibson. They swallow what they throw at the line hook and sinker without using their brain. Unfortunately their knowledge of Islam is already very limited so they are very easily misled like you guys. Here are my points if you care to discuss them on this forum. 1. If Petra is “real “ Mecca The birthplace of prophet Muhammad then where Would You place Medina according to this crazy theory. Medina is about 240 miles north of Mecca. According to well-established history prophet Muhammad migrated to Medina from Mecca. Now 240 miles north of Petra would be the Mediterranean sea or at least cost of current day Israel. Yet Medina has not moved in 1400 years. So according to Gibson the profit migrated several hundred miles south to current day Madina? 2. According to well documented history of the profit he try to preach to the people of five which is 70 miles saw south of Makkah a Hill resort at about 6000 feet above sea level. Where is the corresponding hill resort 70 miles south of Petra. I have been there there’s nothing but desolate desert for hundreds of miles south of Petra. 3. The Zamzam well has been providing water to millions of pilgrims for the last 1400 years and is still present there as a living miracle of God. Where is the Zamzam well counterpart in Petra.? 4. The earliest mosques out of Makkah Warren Medina to the north and they have always been oriented southwards towards Mecca. This part-time historian and full-time amateur guy goes there and uses his GPS and thinks that 14 years 1400 years ago the measurements were as accurate as they are now with the help of modern equipment. He is crazy as a bat and all of those who agree with him too are.

By the way the real Madina is still 250 miles north of Mecca. 250 miles north of Petra is the Mediterranean Sea! That is basic geography. The prophet also went to Taif, a town in the hills 70 miles south of Makkah. where is such a hill resort south of Petra? Gibson, Mulhid and you will have to rewrite the whole Islamic history to try to prove this far fetched crazy thing.
