I completely agree that they nailed the theme of asmodai as an anti chaos character He feels like a potential silver bullet against some chaos comps during war In the same way ulf is a silver bullet vs summons Informative and entertaining and I'm excited for these changes and this event to make it to the game Keep being awesome nandi and ill keep watching -puntyer

I wish Azrael and Sarquael were easier to farm. DA are my second favorite Astartes faction (and probably second favorite faction in general) and I would like to put a full squad together when the other characters are added

I started tacticus last week and unlocked Asmodai as a random requisition.

Cool looking character, but the lack of additional traits makes him very 'meh' if he isn't against Chaos. His active seems okay but just like the old Helbrecht trait, he doesn't attack after using the active so you're trading his damage for a buff to allied damage. Thats a significant drop in damage (4 hits) to buff other units (even tho it is still a buff). His passive isn't great either especially in raids unless its Chaos or you're running DA. That said, I actually do like the idea that you NEED to run a faction team instead of just picking the "best" character from all faction and smashing them together as a meta win button. The next DA character has got to include a Deathwing terminator or two. No way they don't put an iconic unit as a DW Knight.

Thank you for the informative video. Though, one question I have is how can one obtain a Heavenfall Blade? I know that it’s on rotation through the Rogue Trader, but I was wondering if that’s the only way to obtain the item. Once again, thank you for the informative video. Just imagine if they would promote Azrael to legendary because of that... I would want to see that. But then he should've got some buff, because right now he's very average. Also at this rate i think there will be no legendary for the faction

It was in the rogue trader. Might return. Otherwise you can upgrade an epic weapon to a legendary while on a Dark Angel and it should be an option.

Great video as always @Nandi! Do you think we will end up seeing Eldryon get “balanced”? I feel like for the health of game at some point it’s going to happen as unless he can’t be used he is 100% auto include in almost all PvE teams.

I think Asmodai needed 1 more character trait. Maybe unstoppable or Rapid Assault just to give him some versatility when not fighting Chaos factions.

He's unnecessarily complex, there's really no need for the bonus damage taken to be just "melee or overwatch" they should just do it a normal buff and cut off that unneeded restriction

I think either one of Lazarus or Ezekiel are probable for one of the remaining Dark Angels characters as an anti psyker/psyker since this is kinda missing.

I generally care little for the Dark Angels, their characters and their lore, but ever since I saw him in TTS I have a fondness for Asmodai in particular. ^^ I think Snowprint did really good job or portraying his character character and aesthetic. And I agree his model seems particularly well done.
