Ahh I remember those days, leveling through the death knight starting area, then running through the dark portal after, then finally going to Northrend at level 68. That’s how it was back then, you had to go through each expansion in order up to level 110. People now have no idea just how easy they have it.

Saw alot of people reccomenced either blood or unholy. Is this because Frost isn't very good? I went Frost with my dk recently(still only level 17) just because I liked the dual swords

Frost was good with dual wielding. Unholy and Blood took 2H, and while Unholy leaned more into diseases and minions, Blood was rather like barbarian/warrior thing.

I've leveled Blood DPS and it is a lot of fun but I also like Unholy DPS also. Frost is a little off given that it's effectively the tank spec but does have some dps as well as its the tree that gives you DW. DW Unholy is really overpowered also and is really good until you get Shadowmourne and even then DW Unholy is relatively close to Shadowmourne Unholy. Not sure if they ever did fix it but there is a really broken sigil that makes DW Unholy the superior spec. I do know it was still broken in beta all of the way up to prepatch as Sarthe was showing it off. The other thing to consider with Unholy is that your primary weapon enchant is also not a Runeforge at all but rather an enchant called Black Magic.

Blood is the tank spec, but uses frost presence for threat gen, unless it's different in early wotlk. Blood is the worst option for DPS out of the 3
