I hate Black Morass because it's a taste of what raids are like. You can be competent but if someone in your group has no idea what they're doing, it's a wipe. If you run it with half-competent people though, it's a breeze though which makes the prospect of joining an LFG for it deceptive.

I don't think mechanics or spells warrant "classic" wastes of time.

Lolol dude you are dumb or trolling. Ret paladin gives 3% melee and spell crit against any target they judge. That is HUGE damage buff for the raid. Also whatever group they are in they give 2% damage to that group from improved sanctity aura.

I feel like Blizzard saw how much trouble People were having on the Beta, and nerfed the bosses into the ground, but left the trash mobs where they were in power. So now you literaly have trash packs that are harder than boss fights. But tbf, I don't raid for the PvE challenge, I raid for the loot and the random bullshitery that goes on in discord as 1/2+ of the raid is either tipsy or slightly stoned. Our Druid class lead usually comes to the raid on low dose shrooms(.5-.8g), best F'ing healer we got. If I want a real challenge I'll just PvP

Well, these are not heroics, but I have nightmares from Heroic Arcatraz. I just got out of Karazhan with my guild as a resto shaman and the heroic daily was Heroic Arcatraz for some daily badges of justice (I think they were justice, could have been badges of something else). Any ways, we wiped and wiped and wiped. It was harder than Karazhan! Those eyeball dudes would 1 shot me with 18K of damage. We eventually finished the dungeon after many wipes, but that was a first time last time for me. I didn't wipe in Karazhan once, the heroic dungeon was actually harder than a raid. That and the first two bird dudes of Heroic Sethekk Halls will cause any healer a panic attack.

As a prot paladin main who's cleared 11/12 Karazhan during the first id, I absolutely love resto shamans in 5 mans. Their healing is top notch, they provide a 25% armor buff, they regenerate mana during combat for the whole group and they don't go oom when paired with a shadow priest, ever. Also, there's blood lust. As an alliance player, you might be biased because "yours" aren't naxx geared, though.
