Blood Elves: Mana addicts that were abandoned by their prince and came from high elves who were originally kicked out from night elf society for messing with magic. Maghar: lost their world to a Draenei dictatorship. Zandalari: Had their sacred city raided and their king killed by the alliance. Draenei: kicked out from their original society and hunted by demons for many years. Light Draenai: Were losing a war against the legion before the players showed up. Night Elves: had their bush burned and so much more. Void Elves: banished cause they kept messing with the void. Highmountain: were harassed and put up little resistance until players showed up (kinda stretching cause I can't remember much of their story). Forsaken: their race literally started because of a big L (getting killed and resurrected by Arthas and the scourge), and they blew up their own capital and kinda screwed over the other horde races during BFA. Tauren: were almost hunted to extinction by the degenerate centaurs The only race that doesn't have a definitive loss is dwarves (at least that I can currently think of).

Dwarves had that 3 way war between the clans but its mostly centered around dark irons I think, and highmountian had 2 of their 3 very important tribes partially destroyed or betray them. (the river and blood tribe). Thanks for the detailed list!

I remember that in the War of the Three Hammers, the dark iron clan danced around the Wildhammers and Bronzebeards so voraciously that it carried into classic WoW, even past the defeat of the ragnaros cult until they joined the alliance. The second you think you have space to breath-OPE they are blowing up the loch dam, ohh and there goes the arathi bridge in the wetlands.. and these weren’t even their homelands. The dark irons basically hold dominion over two whole zones PLUS this gigachad of a fucking dwarf emporer is FUCKING magni’s daughter. Also? She fucking loves it. When you kill him she tells the players that she loved him and would lead the dark irons

I personally think werewolves are cool in fantasy settings in general(especially in Van Helsing), so that's why I like Worgen. Back in the days when we all played BiteFight, I always choose the werewolf team and never Vampire.

Most markedly different people groups have different contributory homo genus origins. I personally loved playing my resto shaman when you would cast lb to gain mana. It wasn't much but it forced people to dps whenever they had the chance. It was good to teach healers to dps and heal at the same time.

@@adam.maqavoy The dad story of shaman, it seems like all the cool spells that were prob originally designed for sham get spread out to the new classes.... Like giving DK all our unique buffs as auras plus stuff like howling blast which would have been perfect for enhance or even elem as a new frost based aoe, then monks having their spirit guardians like our elements, they even gave misty a totem with green dragon statue and variation of chain heal, and CH Lightning with that jade crackle. Plus better defenses or stun/cc that we asked about forever, they got good versions and we got weaker ones in later xpacs. Then demon hunter getting all these mobility boosts, our ranged interrupt, some defenses and an immunity, ECt. Guess that is just how things go, all I really want is a tank spec for shaman.

Survival feels more like BM than BM does, because you actually work in harmony with your pet to pull off combos. Rexxar, the hero always known as _the Beastmaster_ was even rebranded as a survival hunter when Legion changed the spec to melee. SV even took one of my favorite BM spells, Spirit Bond.

Of course it needs some adjustments, we know Blizz didn't look at us since the big change, and we are lacking single target damage not because we are melee but because blizz is boost everything else but us!

We used to be able tojustify it when fights had cleave/aoe like a thing that says "damage is split amongst all members in cleave" and melee all had one form of 'reduce AoE damage' so you'd actually want SOME melee over just 'every dps needs to be ranged' I don't know why they ever changed that. Why fix something not broken to a place it breaks it?

Kinda crazy my dad played this game for years but he stopped playing it a while ago. I just started playing and I absolutely love beast mastery hunter. It just so happens it was my dads favorite too. I love the idea how if your a beast mastery then your the only class that can tame exotic beasts. I like the idea of using pets to your advantage and having them take all the agro is also really cool especially since your a ranged dps. I can’t wait to go out into the world and taming my first pet.

Thematically, prot warriors are the most bad ass tank in my opinion. They go in and use shear will power and focus to block, ignore pain, and utilize tried and true technique that only a true warrior can master.

Marksmanship hunters, while I am totally biased for them as I played one for years, I think is the type of class really good for DPS in dungeons and raids, good for leveling quick, but not good in PVP, as currently you have to stand still for your large damage attacks. Years ago you had some ability to be able to move and charge those attacks but the whole feature was removed, I forget the name tbh. Also you still have a pet and you can have it out to help distract enemies or put it away to deal extra damage or something I believe.

I quit early cata but Frost Mage was amazing in BGs especially in WotLK. It was nerfed in cata so had to switch to fire mage. Frost mage is about survival and relying on others. Even when it was lit you still required party or teammates to not get fucked up in AB or WS. Mostly you hung back using AoE to whittle enemies . In arenas you leaned heavily on kiting as much as possible. Used to hate fighting pallys and rogues

Saying furry is a trend, but this trend is way younger than worgen first appearing in WoW. Also werewolfs appear in folk tales too. The lore of making worgen as a playable race is logical. I was never a furry, but always liked playing as worgen. The new fox race however is furry. It appeared after the furry trend, they are small and cute.

The Forsaken are specifically from the human Kingdom of Lorderon. Sylvanis was a High Elf from Silvermoon, before it was Blood Elven, who was aligned with Lorderon before the fall of Arthas and she broke free from Arthas' control by taking Lorderon. This all occurred in WC3 and what led up to Vanilla WOW

I've got to be honest imo Undead Outlaw is the most badass class to play you are like a dead Pirate its soo cool. And the people arguing about Roll the Bones... its not about playing Casino every roll needs you to adapt your playstyle immediatly and thats the interesting and fun thing about it. In Shadowlands its even easier to get buffs because of the conduit Count the Odds which gives every Ambush/Dispatch a 21% Chance to grant a buff and with 2 Ambushes (Stealthed and Vanished one) and many Dispatches after you have Slice and Dice + Between the Eyes you are very likely to get some buffs and if these buffs combinate each other you have automatically a new playstyle to adapt in that moment. My Favorite Race/Class/Spec combination ever!

I agree with a lot of what you say here. When I don't, I understand your reasoning and can agree to disagree. I can't accept your judgement on Pandaren though when you don't know their lore at all. With their history we got Lei Shen, the Mogu, more Old God lore, Ra Den, Wrathion development, and something you've advocated for in other videos: something that we didn't expect. Nobody could have guessed that expansion's setting and story. Obviously I'm simping (you can tell by my profile) but there's a reason why almost all people I know who didn't play MoP live express some lament in not having played simple due to "pandas are stupid". With laserturkey as my first character ever, I approve. Blood DK, hell yes. Unholy, FCK yes. Edit: I mained Sub Rogue in PvE from the LFD patch. Mostly because people told me Sub was bad in PvE, so I set out to prove them wrong. It was fun, Shadow Dance was fucking awesome. Timing your energy regen to spam as many Ambushes as possible was sick.

Played a resto Shaman most of the time up until the end of MOP. When you popped ascendance, bloodlust, the other spell that healed the 2 lowest targets evenly (don't remember the name) and healing tide totem holy bejesus! I remember trying to find a situation where popping that combo would make it a challenge cuz you could literally heal through anything.

Asmon: Worgen opened the door to furries. Asmon forgets druids were in the game since vanilla, and allowed you to tranform into like 6 different kinds of furries.3/10, the only redeeming factor of this list was female draenei made the top of this list. the only reason why the worgen exist was because of the night elves and tauren were fucking around with the "pack form".

Yep, Ret pally main here and we’re in a great spot in all aspects of the game. It’s also a spec that’s easy to play and difficult to master. Mismanagement of execution sentence rotation has brutal consequences in numbers whereas if you time it all correctly, you’re rewarded being at the top of the meters. I personally LOVE the spec!

@@NEkromanT33 No, it really isn't. If any spec is that, it's Frost DK. Ret used to be the most basic spec for melee DPS but always had more layers due to it's support capabilities. Ret now has a meatier rotation than it used to and the more complex parts of the spec still lie in the support. If Ret were so simple, everyone would be playing like Vanguards... they aren't. Ret is a simple class to pick up, true. It is forgiving for new players because it has an instant heal which is spammable (as long as you have Holy Power), yet the fact it is forgiving doesn't mean it has no deeper gameplay. Ret players have to made decisions other DPS classes don't need to make. Our damage can also be spent on healing, and we have quite a few support spells which beginner Ret's simply don't use, and intemediate Ret's screw up and don't use in an ideal manner. Sanctuary, Sacrifice, BoP, Cleanse, Turn Evil, Freedom, Word of Glory and Flash of Light - all utility a regular DPS doesn't have to consider. Also an extremely strong toolkit in the right hands. If you play Ret like a regular DPS spec then yes, it's a basic bitch, but that's not how Ret is played.

Kinda stupid to rate a race so low just because of a certain portion of the playerbase. Like, one shouldn't care about others who play the race, and should rate it on its own merits. I mean, if we used that logic, then we'd have to give Orcs G tier because Orcs are mostly played by Horde players who think they're too good for the game, whose egos are bigger than Azeroth.

Enhancement Shaman is the best. I played it 20 000 hours in TBC, WOTLK, Cataclysm... It is so versatile... I could tank heroics, I could solo WOTLK Bosses in Cataclysm, do any content solo to gather gear/mounts/gold/rss I could throw in a heal/healing rain to ease the pressure on our healer, I can stop enemies, interrupt enemies, have great damage ( Even though my task was to give our Windfury and totem totem twisting to have him generate more Threat and mitigation at the same time I was in the top 50 of all damage dealers in TBC, yeah even with the Warglaive Rogues, Locks, Mages...) I have an average DPS of 3000, because I knew the game in an out, practiced rotations and Twisting for many many hours. The second on the list was at 2700, and the 5th on 2000 DPS over all encounters... TBC was so much fun, because it rewarded you to play harder and smarter than everyone else. Hated when they dumbed down the buffs... this is also where the bear druid lost its way... I was raiding in 3 guilds at the time... 1 enh shaman on alliance, 1 enh shaman on the same server horde, and ret Paladin... did some casual raiding on mage, lock, druid, rogue (was my main in the first 6000 hours of the game). But the Enhancement Shaman was so much fun... still have a few videos up on user myrddin.

Vulpera have great racials if you're a Collector, being able to teleport anywhere outdoors for thst rare spawn... or turning off WM on the spot. And the 8 extra bag slots.

Adding nightfallen to the horde did make sense. Blood elves helped a lot durning the Suramar campaign, and also shared and uderstood similar problems such as a lack for mana power (idk how it's called tbh)

I love by warrior. I started in LK and titans grip before the nerf was epic. I like warriors because you almost have to be good at 2 specs. Arms is for PVP and fury is for raid and dungeons..I hate what they did with fury in shadowlands. Before shadowlands, the faster you could push buttons the higher the dps, now I feel like I'm waiting all the time for globals

As a healer mainly actived from 70-90, resto shaman is the least i wanted to play. yes, they r easiest af, but once u tried other classes u will feel strengthless, there r not much they can do to in boss fights and weaken a lot in 10mans. When i was like the healers leader in 25raid, i just let them do what they want(spam chain healing) as they dont have anything else can provide like dmg reductions. Druid is the coolest one at/after wotlk, the reason why is a master resto druid comapre to average ones can be super huge. Due to the mechanics they have, u heal so differently than other classes, u r like the grandmaster of chess if u can play it well and u outheal everyone by doing that. ur mobilbilty and utilities r so good as well, u can single heal a 10man raid, when u do massive aoe heals and still manage to keep tanks alive is just an art. Holy pally just easy to play, looks cool and can do so much in a boss fight. i once single healed in a 25 lich king when its was like 5,6 % to go and i had like 10-12 mans left. Priest r ok, disc r boring imo just spaming shields and ur hps sucks if everyone is below 50%health, nth much u can do u just helpless. Holy is a better, u can do a lot healings if ur timing r right, just bad at keeping tanks alive, whereas druid n pally can keep two tanks alive if they know what they r doing.

To be fair, Pandaria existet in the lore before MoP. I remember running around the far shores outside of Booty Bay and seeing these turtle skeletons with traditional japanese or chinese structures build on them. I was playing during WotL. Maybe they started as a joke in Warcraft but they were definetly hinted at in WoW. I respect your decision though ^^

@@ryguy1483 While this is all in hindsight I do think I have three valid points: First: Other Comments already stated that the Pandaren (as a race) already existed in WC3. Just one but still. Said Character (Chen) lost one of his barrels (Quest giving Item) somewhere in the plains in front of Ogrimmar. That means that Pandaren exist/existed somewhere in the world of WoW. Second: The houses on the tortoise skeletons were different from any that we have seen until then in the World. Different housing means different ways of living/ culture. While it is never said that these were from a Panadaren origin the name Chen and these house do share a far eastern theme. Third: Because we find these skeletons only at beaches do suggests that they came from somewhere else. Since the houses are made of wood it would be weird if they came from under the sea. That means they could only come from an unexplored part of the known continents, an Island or (which is honestly the least possible option) a whole other continent.

Nightborne joined the horde for literally only 2 reasons, you see it during a quest. 1. Blood elf crackhead mana addict sympathy 2. Tyrande is a coont to them. That's it. 35:38 I started playing WoW just before BfA. And I was, of course, a beast mastery hunter. 😂 After some leveling, I tried out the other specs. I honestly had no interest in marksmanship, because it felt one-dimensional compared to BM. And I also liked having two pets. When I tried out survival, the playstyle changed severly and it didn‘t take even 15 minutes to realise, that they have been right about renewing this spec. It was fun from the start.

Blood DK’s, when played correctly, just don’t die. Proof of this was the Antorus High Command boss fight I was in on heroic. 1 Blood DK, 2 Healers, and 5 DPS when the final guy was at 2+ million hp. The rest of us were dead (I’m an Unholy DK ironically), and these guys manage to win. They beat the boss. When they did, both healers had died before then and 1 DPS remained. And the Blood DK was at full health. Both healers died at the last 100k health, and the tank was at 20% health. This dude just did not die. Literally refused to die. And then afterwards, he was at full. Blood DK’s are sometimes unkillable.

I knew the Worgen were coming. I knew what would happen. Worgen was my first race. I’m not a furry, but he is correct. I love the Worgen just cause I think they look interesting. @@dragames I like ww, first of all they have a fists of fury ability which does alot of single target damage but does insane aoe damage, they have this whole zen thing going on. Its part of why I think they should use focus instead of energy. They have touch of death which can one shot things if it meets the requirements. Touch of karma is awesome to. It reminds me of the coolness that prot paladins have with the old retribution aura and nowadays the holy shield but its put in a big cooldown.

Idk I have never supported furries and loved worgen just because they were cool. I stopped playing wow before all the new races came in, and they were kind of what discouraged me from returning. But my favorite modles are orc female, and tauren & worgen males, except those two are hard to find good ground mounts for. Historically, I loved gnomes when I was younger. I played a gnome mage from classic to tbc, a gnome/worgen dk from wotlk to mop, then warlock, many races, ever since. My first ever character was an undead warrior though, I got to level 6 or something.

Yeah Blood is 100% S tier DK spec. Awesome class fantasy with a fun game play loop. However, I wish they'd introduce a more DPS hybrid version through talents so I don't have to swap to UH or Frost for dps in PVP.
