B-1LL gpa is graded on a 4.0 scale. 2.0= all c’s, 3.0= all b’s and a 4.0 gpa would mean you got all a’s. It’s an average of all of your grades. Honors classes are worth 4.5 for an A and AP (advanced placement) classes are college level courses that you gain college credit from completing. You get 5.0 points for an A and a B in an AP class is worth the same as an A in a regular class (4.0). It’s a way to bring up your average (GPA) by taking harder courses. Someone who gets all B’s and takes all AP classes will theoretically have the same GPA as someone who gets all A’s in normal classes.

People are weird about spending so much time playing games. I remember when mum was afraid that Mario would make my brother and I violent because we killed the goombas and turtles. We werent even allowed to say the word "kill". When I found WoW and started playing that I just got sucked into it because it was just fun. I went to work and then I came home, played Wow, made something to eat, do a few chores and played more WoW. Everyone was getting all paranoid because WoW has demons in it and they had a huge DND paranoia and thought I was going to get possesed because of a game lol. It didnt help because I had depression and anxiety, but playing WoW actually kept my mind busy to where I wasnt thinking about how shitty I felt all the time.

I was one of these kids back in the day. Parents let me play games, but encouraged me to succeed. When they got angry at me playing games, it made me want to distance myself from them and the world. Eventually I found the balance myself, applied some self discipline, graduated college, pushed myself. They never pushed me, they just spoke their mind on how they support me and want me to succeed and that level of support made me want to make them proud and do good for myself so I found balance in entertainment and progression. When there's disagreement, there's rebellion. If there's just nothing but arguments and lecturing, you're heading into a downward spiral. When you love and respect someone, you want to do good for them. I think it's important for parents to stay positive.

70 hours? I spend that many hours in a week. I play WoW or CSGO for 8 hours a day, sleep another 8 hours and go to work for 8 hours, Thats 40 hours from Monday to Friday and spend like 15-20 hours on weekends since i dont have to work then, its not an addiction. Its just being passionate about grinding the game.

@Brendan Frieders Spending 10 hours instead of 8 isnt really a big difference either, The difference is that i dont afk in a city for 5 hours straight, if nothing... i at least get a new equipment or a mount in those 8 hours

It would be wow if wow wasn’t so pointless to play nowadays. But it’s crazy because fortnite is the same. The only thing to go for are wins and skins. It’s fun but it’s pointless tbh. I guess if you’re playing just because you want to be good at it, that’s a reason. But old wow had so much meaningful content that wasn’t just another win or another skin. Now everything you could use in the past to give your character an edge is pointless

Actually the moms are afraid. They don't know shit about PC, games, or anything their kid does. And since they don't understand it, they are afraid and better make Satan out of it, forbid it and satiate their need for protecting the kid. It's not about games at all.

Sometimes stuff like this makes me wonder why parents don’t sit down with their kids and learn about their hobbies and try engaging with them, rather than attacking the things they enjoy. Literally zero sympathy or understanding. TALK TO YOUR KIDS!

man... I wish parents would just ban their computers if they think it is bad for them. You know what, How can parents be so stupid they literally let their kids run everything. If you are an adult you really need to have some basic rules and enforce them , if you the kid doesn't have boundaries it will make it harder and harder to enforce them.

Most of these supposed news reports about addicted gamers are soooo fake in a very cringy way. It's so obvious that they paid the parents and the kid to pretend just to get a clickbait-news story and to bash on video games. And those kids who actually are addicted to video games, it's not the games fault that the kids became addicted, it's the parents fault for doing bad parenting.
@aorusaki

@@aorusaki It only gets to that point if the parent didn't teach them properly. It is their fault, yes, but most of that blame can EASILY and SHOULD be on the parent because they are the ones that are suppose to be guiding them. If all you do is put the console in front of them to act as their "babysitter", no shit they're going to be having fun playing a game for hours on end without understanding the concept of moderation.

15:06 this kid had already said “i play fortnite 20 hrs a day and spends the other four sleeping and eating” (although he looks too healthy to only sleep for like 2hrs a day) and then later he said something along the lines of “after 6 hrs of school all day i just play fortnite) Although he doesnt apply travel time, basic maths, and sleep schedules 20(hrs)(fortnite) + 4(hrs)(sleeping and eating) + 6(hrs)(school)= this math concludes with the fact that this child is better than all of you bc u cant even live for 30hrs a day.

Also, The funny thing is the hypocritical parents who criticize their kids for excessive escapism almost always spend more time watching TV or over working to even acknowledge their child's existence. Then they get confused when they can't find their kid because he has new family and friends online because he was severely neglected.
