5.0 GPA from a special ed test. God I hate titanforging.
@truman8096 жыл бұрын
B-1LL gpa is graded on a 4.0 scale. 2.0= all c’s, 3.0= all b’s and a 4.0 gpa would mean you got all a’s. It’s an average of all of your grades. Honors classes are worth 4.5 for an A and AP (advanced placement) classes are college level courses that you gain college credit from completing. You get 5.0 points for an A and a B in an AP class is worth the same as an A in a regular class (4.0). It’s a way to bring up your average (GPA) by taking harder courses. Someone who gets all B’s and takes all AP classes will theoretically have the same GPA as someone who gets all A’s in normal classes.

@MemberBerry-cu9qi5 жыл бұрын
I was one of these kids back in the day. Parents let me play games, but encouraged me to succeed. When they got angry at me playing games, it made me want to distance myself from them and the world. Eventually I found the balance myself, applied some self discipline, graduated college, pushed myself. They never pushed me, they just spoke their mind on how they support me and want me to succeed and that level of support made me want to make them proud and do good for myself so I found balance in entertainment and progression. When there's disagreement, there's rebellion. If there's just nothing but arguments and lecturing, you're heading into a downward spiral. When you love and respect someone, you want to do good for them. I think it's important for parents to stay positive.

Most of these supposed news reports about addicted gamers are soooo fake in a very cringy way. It's so obvious that they paid the parents and the kid to pretend just to get a clickbait-news story and to bash on video games. And those kids who actually are addicted to video games, it's not the games fault that the kids became addicted, it's the parents fault for doing bad parenting.
@aorusaki6 жыл бұрын
I agree but its part of the kids fault too lets be honest haha
@Ghost11705 жыл бұрын
@@aorusaki It only gets to that point if the parent didn't teach them properly. It is their fault, yes, but most of that blame can EASILY and SHOULD be on the parent because they are the ones that are suppose to be guiding them. If all you do is put the console in front of them to act as their "babysitter", no shit they're going to be having fun playing a game for hours on end without understanding the concept of moderation.

15:06 this kid had already said “i play fortnite 20 hrs a day and spends the other four sleeping and eating” (although he looks too healthy to only sleep for like 2hrs a day) and then later he said something along the lines of “after 6 hrs of school all day i just play fortnite) Although he doesnt apply travel time, basic maths, and sleep schedules 20(hrs)(fortnite) + 4(hrs)(sleeping and eating) + 6(hrs)(school)= this math concludes with the fact that this child is better than all of you bc u cant even live for 30hrs a day.

9:55 He's right, the soccer moms don't get it. This is why vanilla was so bad, because the soccer moms were playing and didn't get it.

Also, The funny thing is the hypocritical parents who criticize their kids for excessive escapism almost always spend more time watching TV or over working to even acknowledge their child's existence. Then they get confused when they can't find their kid because he has new family and friends online because he was severely neglected.

No one wants to waste their life on WoW. We want a real MMO to waste our life on. WoW is never going to be that game. WoW is just the game that appealed to the masses.

Speaking of time capsules and how things have changed, remember when you were told not to get into a stranger's car? Now with Uber and Lyft you can summon a stranger from the internet and get in their car.

I don't think it's a 'they want to ruin their childhood' it's more a 'they have no belief there is a future for them'.
