Whoever believes this as a rule, hasn't actually met enough ppl with enough different habits. You can find an insanely well taken care of person self hygiene wise, but their room or car is a mess. But they're perfectly happy. They just don't care. That's not depression lol. That's the same thing as a person who can't smell a bad smell after being acclimated to it after so long, it stops phasing them as an issue. (Look up the history of Febreeze and etc. Took them forever to get an actual market foothold because so many ppl get used to smells.) I also know the reverse. Plenty of ppl who have clean rooms, but they themselves are a mess self hygiene wise. They just don't care/are acclimated to it/how they look. Point being, you're crazy trying to pin cleanliness as a universal rule to diagnosing a mental disorder. Being addicted to something doesn't make ppl depressed. However it can cause a lack of care or focus in other areas. Such as his room. Same goes for Work Aholics. Being focused on work, can cause ppl to ignore family, kids, chores, etc. But ppl don't peg them as depressed when they converse with them.

Jesus christ, no wonder he has teeth, acid reflux, and other health problems. Most of it could be attributed to soda alone. I can understand being a hoarder to an extent, but just straight up not throwing out trash or old food I'll never understand. He needs to have a cleaning stream, his viewers would love that, or just pay someone to clean it out! While I don't know his parents personally, I know they were very poor and he grew up in a trashy environment where people don't take care of their stuff. Zack grew up with his filth, becoming comfortable with it as if it was normal and when he became old enough to realize it was bad, he just made a meme out of it for years where it became his pride and joy to just stack nasty shit and never clean it.

Mine used to be far worse. About 300 piss bottles and some would randomly make sounds and turn black over months. Many would have a lot of pressure after awhile. There was an area with around 3 feet of just trash and piss bottles. I think mine tops most people's and I wish I documented it for proof.
