Best thing about many of Asmond's playthroughs of games in general is that he always wants to become insanely powerful but often rejects great powers because of unwillingness to learn. Yes yes.. all play their own way bla bla bla. No magic? Fine. But imagine how much more power he would have with Weapon Ashes.

@@williamwalsh3779 As he's said before many times he has a low tolerance to stress and pressure so that's why he plays these chunky characters that can take a couple of hits that way he can see mechanics and react till next attack. I guess it's his playstyle matching his preferences but not trying and looking through Weapon Ashes is a bit silly. Ultimately I'm not that invested in Asmon nor Twitch all together so I don't really care tbh. I was just checking because he was playing Elden Ring. But he always says big dick and what is not more big dick than a super duper cool and powerful Weapon Ashe. Oh well..

I have beat Elden Ring with 9 different builds/characters, most of them I've beat it twice. Saving that last slot for if I get inspired to make one last build. That's awesome!!! I've committed to beat the game with each class and see what I come up with build wise for each one. I love how this game has such amazing replayability there's been no game for me that has ever allowed me to do that before. That's why Elden Ring is hands down GOTY no debate in my opinion. @@joshmay2944 I had thought about doing an Intelligence/Faith Build using Ghost Flame, like Death's Poker, The Ritual Spear, and Helphen's Steeple, then use all the Rancor and Ghost Flame spells. On top of that, I could make a build using the Fundamentalist Incantations, just change out the armor, weapons, and spells between the two builds. Two builds/characters on one slot so to speak. I orginally did that with my Faith Holy Paladin and Pyromancer builds, but I ended up making dedicated characters for them both. Black Flame build or Flame of Frenzy build would be cool as well. So many options...

@@joshmay2944 my Arcane Bleed build started out Dexterity/Arcane but I wanted to respec most of my damage into Arcane and just hit the requirements in Strength and Dexterity to use a variety of weapons, many of them are Dexterity type like Dual Nagakiba with Bloody Slash, Grave Scythe with Phantom Slash, Dual Rivers, Dual Godskin Peelers, Dual Bandit's Curved Swords, etc. and also use the Greatsword, Iron Greatsword, Golems Halberd, or Nightrider Glaive if I want. I dont mind doing less damage if I can wield a variety of weapons and most of my builds have around 10 weapons or so to choose from. I am not much of the min/max kinda guy.

I wish you could grease a colossal weapon, but as a drawback it takes 2 grease, and animations for the effect to apply. Would make for some crucial plays

You can grease colossal weapons. I did a great sword play through and used whatever grease was needed in that area to buff with. Not ALL colossal weapons can but I think it’s dependent on the ash of war OR if they are boss/special weapons

Heavy weapons are great and all, but if you can find a lighter/faster weapon that can land twice as many hits in the time it takes for a heavy weapon to land one with similar damage, the faster weapon will most likely have better overall DPS. Bigger isn't always better.

2min in and oh ya there are a lot of caves/catacombs you’ve missed (northern most part of lake where dragon is, northern most part of the river where it meets the ocean…) Edit: No caves in the mistwood. Just the elevator to the underground area. Edit edit: that cave by the coast is an exit only. The entrance is in Caelid

I don't mind asmon too much. But it drives me wild when he argues with chat. Like, he's played through the game once. There's people in his chat who have probably beaten it 5x minimum. It's annoying when they tell him he missed something(after he asked to be told when it happened), he just dismisses it or calls them wrong. He still didn't get the illusionary wall in black knife and they had to drag him back to the grave after the scion fight.
