I agree. But at the same time, if he makes it “harder” or people suddenly see that and think it’s a challenge, it becomes almost unavoidable. This might be obvious to some; VPNs are great but people sometimes can work around that based on other info already made public either directly, or by proxy (friend, family, etc). Having a friend who works in cyber security, his advice to me is: “never ever presume you’re safe and/or completely protected. Have a backup plan”.

I just realized that watching videos like this, both the reaction and the original video is modern days reality TV to me. I don't watch traditional TV at all and haven't done for years but I started wondering why I'm so into watching drama being unfolded online between influencers. I've never really cared much at all for the people involved but It's so intriguing to watch a long and see where the story goes.

Regarding scammers calling out scammers: there was a study a while ago of meercats who would pretend to be keeping watch for predators when it wasn't their turn to look because the one keeping watch was the one least targeted by predators. Of course the other meercats would call the faker out, but the interesting thing was that the ones who best got away with it, were the ones who were keeping watch for other's faking keeping watch to call them out. In a dynamic system with no built up leadership, vigilant cheaters calling out sneaky cheaters fulfilled the role of middle management.

If you're not a MMA fan and wonder who dillion dannis is I got you. Dude is a legit Brazilian jujitsu black belt that has won some events In it. He trained conor mcgregor for the khabib to help with his grappling. Got some shine had like 3 fight in belator and won by submission. NOW all that being said he's basically been known in the mma world as a guy just trolling nd not fighting. It was kinda funny at first but he kept going on and on and not fighting. He'd get into a fight on the street or a scuffle or get choked out by a security guard. Everyone thinks of him as a clown. He got the KSI fight then we all thought damn he's kinda smart now cuz hes talked his way into a huge money fight and we don't even expect him to win. Was cutting good promos for it had us somewhat convinced he was gonna do it. Then pulls out of the fight with ksi saying he's unprepared. this dude I have no idea who will ever book a fight with him. All in all used to have a promising future to be a bad guy in mma but now is just a sad clown.

In my country, the parliament and the gvt are looking into ways of punishing scamfluencers. There was an article with 2-3 ppl who were legit vs 12 who promoted scams. I felt bad for those two honest influencers, like there's a French youtuber who gives real stocks advice based on his own experience, wins and fails. Dillon is famous for being bros with Conor McGregor, and taking advantage of his 15 minutes of fame better than most on social media by being The Worst. He was, to be fair, an outstanding in BJJ, but that's not what made him famous, and he got 86d from his gym for being The Worst.
