What boggled my mind about Pakman's subscription plea (which is what the video was), is that he spoke about tactics, political "sales strategies" etc., but he never spoke about WHY over half the country has rejected the ideology of the Democratic Party. He thinks they lost because of tactics, not ideas. No useful self reflection at all. Until the Democratic party puts their fringe back in their proper place, on the fringe, moderate Americans will reject them. This is me. I followed David Pakman, meidas touch, luke and several others leading up to the election. When I saw the results I decided that there literally no point anymore in getting my hopes up. It's not that I don't believe in the cause. I have no interest in watching "the other side's" input either. I slowly started to distance myself from echo chambers when I realized that what the left-wing propaganda said about anyone who voted right-wing. I was a delivery driver of color and was sent to a town 1 hour away from the city and was considered "Trump country". What I found was a town where people respect you and are always happy to see you, talk about life, ect. I even had people recognize me as someone who spoke my native to give and talk to me in said tongue, and not hiding who they were not where they come from. It’s crazy how I’ve listened to people on the right. A lot of the encourage people on their shows to go listen to what the other side is saying. Meanwhile I’ve listened to people on the left and all they wanna do is shut the other side up

@@marvman9791 exactly, that’s why people on the left complain about “muh hate speech and misinfo” and its why Kamala openly calls for the government to require social media platforms to stop the spread of dissent. If the left was really so confident in their views that anyone who disagrees was spreading misinformation, they wouldn’t feel the need to shut it down. They know they’re wrong, and they want Justin Trudeau’s regime.

The key issue with people like this guy and other left wing publications and sources of media that are losing subscribers and followers, is how they identify “half the country,” instead of actually taking the time to understand their own flaws, and why even centered Dems voted right.

The fact that these people's first thought is: 'Is this a glitch, or is my channel under attack?' rather than: 'Did I do or say something that caused me to lose subscribers?' is very telling to me. Their first instinct is to blame literally ANYONE but themselves, never introspection. Your first instinct should always be humble, ask yourself if you said or did something wrong. If yes: You adress it, fix it if possible. If no: Then and ONLY then do you start looking at other possibilities. Edit: 'When you disengage because they have gotten so extreme' Why do they only ever talk about extremism on the right? No one is saying the right doesn't have extremists, we're saying the democrats ALSO has extremists and they're running the party right now. And until you acknowledge that and have a fair discussion about extremism on BOTH sides and not try and gaslight us into thinking only the right is extreme but the left isn't, people will continue to not trust you. 🤷🏼‍♂️
