Tbh he did really well movement and decision wise, in the end streaming is about entertainment and he showed up to the 30 minute mark that he knows very well what to do and how to properly evade, and when it's also not needed. I'll miss the Vampire Survivors series once he got Red Death, but I have some hope he might go for MissingNo and maybe some fun modding (like infinite weapons or unlocking all weapons for 1 run. Having 55 of them going off all the time is a kick)

I did the clerici method just yesterday and it works easy. I would recommend to watch Never Nathaniel for that. Its a 3 minute easy tutorial which works 95% of the time.

I did not plan to beat red death, but it happened with this. Level was library. I cant remember which character, but it has growth every 5 levels or so. So i was level 140 at the end. But have everything evolved, runetracer , holy water, fire wand and guns. I think the most important was evolved lancet. and 240% area. When the red death came at 30 minutes i just go right. Somehow lancet has freeze him and also he have half health because evolve. At first i did not see that i kill him because its hard to see because 240% area, then suddenly screen zoom in, bells was ringing and white death appeared. I was lucky because it was my last revive. Also once i get to 33:45 min with red cloak or that branch evolve which limit death damage to max 10 but it did not help me in the end.

I unlocked the Reaper with Clerici lv2 Runetracer Library strategy before the new Arcanas were introduced. It took me 3 attempts (technically 2 becouse on my 1st try i forget to turn off Hurry).

I have spent so much time with the runetracer strategy and I kept on failing that one over and over again because I did not get any chests and I didn't get enough kills to level up at 30min. When Toasti strategy came along, I killed the reaper after 2-3 hours of trying it with a slightly different build than in the guide. Haven't yet tested this strategy. I managed to get the runetracer work two days ago and that one was really close one. I haven't and won't go messing with the files to get the missingno. I'll wait for it to be added to the game or I'll just never get it. I have found out in the last 20 years that nothing kills my interest in game faster than when I start personally modifying the files because at that point I can do whatever I want so why do anything. Game loses its meaning for me with that.

If you edit files you can play the RNG survivor "missing no." I did it the other day. You add the name of a unplayable sprite then edit the save with a file patch that replaces the wrong header. Boot the corrupted game then restore back up in options menu.... just remember to copy backups If you edit files.

I just accomplished this. it was a very clean run. got lucky with a x3 chest on my 2nd chest though i lost track of the arcanas so i only found 1 which i took slash over awake. worked out because i got the kill after a 31:30 on the dot without needing a revive. i actually made it to 33:25 without a revive. My first attempt at death i hit lvl 3 at 28 mins by accident and could not kill death so staying lvl 2 seems to be huge

tried this strat just, everything went perfect up until about 28minutes'ish where i gathered a couple crystals and went level 3, got the perfect build and arcana's but being level 3 reaper kill takes a little longer at 33mins 30 secs and 3 reapers I lost track of the lower level reaper and lost all revivals and failed :'(

I unlocked red death with Porta. It's heavily RNG based, but you need to get Laurel up asap and stay lvl 2. Cooldown-tomes are a must have too.. hence why you'd wanna do this on the library map. This way you'll have infinite laurel charges (because of your ~90% cd) as long as you stay lvl 2.

The game has a mechanic that stops the clock when open chests, leveling up or in ESC menu, but Asmon says "he was underpressure and couldnt think". THE CLOCK IS STOPPED, YOU HAVE LITERALLY EVERY SECOND ON THE WORLD TO LAY BACK AND THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU WANT/NEED TO DO. If you stress out or feel under pressure is because you want to be like that. There is no excuse for that with a game that feezes time indefinitely. You could pause the game, go to Wendys 10 times and nothing would change.

Love this content man the only flaws I really saw that would net you the win if done differently next time is to not pick lightning ring and to move click using the joystick while leveling up. That way you can pick up the chests and move around while leveling us so you don’t die before evolving your weapons just write down the weapons and artifacts you need and refer back to those notes when you get to the 30 min mark and you’ll be fine good luck tomorrow I’m looking forward to it
