You're so good in your pronunciation. throughout Mexico, there are names of cities, regions, and even states have names inspired by the ancient cultures of the region, so some "X" are pronounced as "J", for example Xalapa(Capital of Veracruz), the pronunciation would be Jalapa, and a region of the state of mexico is called Texcoco, where the x is respected as read "Tecscoco"

Okay, so I've obsessed with ASMR for many years now (and actually into it since I was a kid, before it had a name, before I even understood the phenomenon of what it is). But definitely very into it the past decade on KZbin since the very first ASMR artists started posting videos (before that I used to pay people to record themselves reading books or whispering, burn it on a CD and play it on a CD player at night. But then came the ASMR phenomenon. I watch ASMR videos every single day, usually for a couple hours each day. And as every ASMR fanatic can attest to, you build up a tolerance, so to speak, over time, and it takes more and more to get those tingles. Kinda like a drug addict, actually. And so, whike I have my favorites, I'm often on the hunt for more/different ASMR artists/unintentional ASMR. But while there's more and more male ASMR artists/channels, for whatever reason, no matter how popular or good some male artists, for me...there's never been even one male voice that has worked for me...not one. I generally don't even bother trying male ASMR channels anymore, since there's never been a single one that does it for me. Until now. Even though I never even bother clicking on a video of a male anymore, for some strange reason, I clicked on this video when it popped up in my suggestions....and BOOM! Insta-tingles! I clicked on a couple more of your videos to make sure it wasn't just a one-hit wonder type of thing, and to my happy surprise, your channel is full of tingle-inducing material. I can't wait to try them all out! But alas, I don't want spend all my chips on one slot machine, so to speak. So I came right back to this one, to enjoy it in it's entirety, and to post my novel-length comment here. Again, never once, in my entire life has there been a male voice that gave me tingles, that relaxed me well, never. Female voices only. Also, I have a hard time finding videos from any artist who doesn't do incessant tapping...forced, fast, unrelenting, un-relaxing tapping throughout all their videos (and I'm exaggerating a bit, but really, it's hard to find an ASMR video these days that doesn't have tapping on each and every object/surface they pick up/come into contact with. And that of course, is because most people like tapping, and is one of the top 3/most common tingle-triggers. I'm a bit more odd, in that tapping not only does nothing for me, it actually really prevents me from getting tingling/relaxed...I find it irritating. As I said, I myself am a mostly voice-induced tingle-y (just made up that word there), and I'm not very big on sounds, and what few sounds are tingle-inducing for me, they are somewhat less common/popular for people (like light fabric scratching, very light plastic/acrylic material, or vinyl, card snapping, and occasionally pencil drawing sounds. I really rely on voice, so it has to be just right, with a certain type of letter pronunciation/inflection/tone/volume, etc. Point being, I'm very picky these days on what works for me. So not only am I thrilled to have a new artist (new to me), in my ever-dwindling ASMR repertoire, first male EVER that works for me and I can subscribe to...but that you have some videos that are primarily just voice-based, and has no frequent tapping/forced tapping, AND is actually whispering (more and more ASMR artists are losing the art of true/actual whispering, in favor of "soft-speaking", to the point that I often find myself thinking; "not only are they not whispering, they aren't even soft-speaking, they are pretty much just talking in their regular voice, which just happens to be a bit softer and/in a higher pitch than most people naturally"). Even the artists that used to be great, the pioneers of ASMR...are not putting the same effort into their voice tone, volume, pronunciation, etc. It's become quantity over quality, even amongst some of the all-time greats of the "whisper world". They are more focused on fancier layouts, backgrounds, video/cinematography, props, pov, etc., and forcing sounds and movements, rather than sticking with the basics (in my opinion that is). And so it's so nice to stumble upon an artist such as yourself, that doesn't try to get all fancy, and just employs the classic talents of light whispering, and basic content. That was WAY longer of a "comment" than I intended. So I apologize for that. I'm just so enamored with finally finding the first male voice to work for me, and, that you have some videos with very little tapping, and what little there is, like in this video, it's not the focus, it's not harsh/loud/forced. Just pure, unadulterated tingle-inducing whispering. So thank you for sharing your immensely entrancing voice!! Greatly appreciated!
@ASMRctica4 жыл бұрын
Wow THANKS ❤️❤️❤️ for a lovely comment! It’s super interesting to read about your view on asmr, and there’s a lot here I can definitely relate to! I also enjoy mostly unintentional asmr, non forced tapping (if it has to be any tapping at all) and non forced voice, absolutely no forced whispering. It just has to be very natural, just like unintentional asmr is (since it’s not recorded for that purpose). So i’m very glad to hear you enjoy my content 😊 Have a great day, and thanks again!

This is the only ASMR channel I’m sub’d to. Your artistry is amazing. These map drawing videos really helped me manage stress and focus during my last several classes, as well as adjust to working from home at the start of the pandemic.

Thank you for mentioning Reynosa!!! @1:05:00 😄😄 Fun Fact: the area north of Reynosa in Texas is known as the Rio Grande Valley! (I was hoping you would’ve mentioned it in your Texas video you put out last time)😩 Love your vids! Much love, from Reynosa and the Rio Grande Valley!!😄😄

Funfact: While we think of the civilization that lived there in the late middle ages/early modernity as "The Aztecs", that term actually referred to the aristocracy. The people in general called themselves somethink like "meshika". Yeah. The country actually still has practically the same name.
