Hey Pam! I just wanted to say that your videos have been the best for a non-native speaker to listen to (by far) for 3 reasons: 1. You enunciate every word very clearly 2. Your tempo is perfect - natural, not too fast and not too slllooooow with some pauses 3. You repeat each fact/question twice Recently I’ve found myself grabbing my phone to rewind more often. I know you stopped doing the third (repeating) because someone said it’s annoying. But in my view it’s the opposite - it’s so useful and no one else does it. Just asking you to reconsider doing it 😉

5:40 Yes. Because I am so behind on my assignments in my Medical Assistant Program I have been staying practically everyday at the tutoring center and I have actually fallen asleep there before after turning in almost 10 assignments.

I have two answers to that "Falling asleep", one goofy, one semi-serious: 1. In 2009, I wanted to see if I could last 24 hours without sleeping. I'm a bad sleeper anyway, so 16 year old me probably didn't think it mattered. So what if it's a school night? I'll be fine... Well, I made it until maybe 2pm the next day when I fell asleep briefly in art class. It was one of those times where your brain was so fried, you don't know if you actually slept or not... 2. About 6 years ago, my wife was in hospital, but it was a weekend so the hospital was extra busy. The wife is in the maternity department waiting to be seen (she wasn't pregnant, it was just the only place suitable for her), she's on the bed, she's able to sleep. I had to actually sleep on the hospital floor for an hour or two. Not only was it horrifically uncomfy, but I also realised how awful it is to sleep in a hospital. When you're a patient, it's bad enough, but as a visitor? Worst thing in the world...

For question number 8- I used to go on longgggg hikes with my family, I’d always be so exhausted from walking all day that when we’d eventually stop on the trail for lunch I’d plop down wherever and fall asleep. It didn’t matter if it was on rocks, moss, dirt, etc… I’d sleep for about an hour and then wake up so disoriented

That’s awesome! It’s totally fine to start out just filming with a phone or laptop! I’d recommend splurging on the blue yeti microphone if you want to get a microphone. As far as cameras, I just have a little webcam that attaches to my computer but your phone or computer should have good enough video. Other than that just be yourself and do what you enjoy! I’d love to check out your channel!

Thanksgiving is a thing in Canada but we have it in October not November(I honestly couldn’t tell you the history of our thanksgiving). Pumpkin pie is common around October because of Thanksgiving but also because of fall and pumpkin flavoured everything
