I assembled it, yeah. I didn't solder the microphone parts but I bought various components, drilled the necessary holes and inserted lavalier microphones with appropriate specs.

This microphone was not made in a factory but rather assembled and designed by myself! So yes, there are some differences in the ears but only slight and the actual mnicrophones in each ear are the same. The silicone ears look similar but arrived with different finishes as well, so one is entirely smooth and the other is a tiny bit coarse, so the sound is affected by that too.

I get you but also, I made this microphone. It doesn't behave the same way commercially produced ones do. It would sound awful and just clip the microphones like crazy if I went too hard into the ear. One of these days, I will make another similar microphone set up but with improved quality of work. First prototypes are always a little wonky
