T'inquiète pas de dire "you know", je ne le m'apercevais pas jusqu'à ce que vous le disiez dans la description. Pour moi le truc que je répète trop c'est "um". Quand je me regarde dans les vidéos de moi même je cringe (ça se dit? je ne sais pas le mot en français). Mais, quand même, tout le monde d'autre ne s'aperçoivent du tout. My favorite book ever since I read it in high school, is The Picture of Dorian Gray. Just today though, I feel it may be supplanted by Once Upon a River. I grew up in the rust belt, and reading a story so engrossed in the many societal woes of the region just made me so invested in Margo's character development and eventual peace. My own life's issues are nothing like hers, but I still felt her pain because I cope in the same ways. Without even realizing it, I saw her differently as she grew and learned through the story. Towards the end, I almost cried when I saw that she wasn't the scared, traumatized girl who left Murrayville. She was a strong, wise, and nurturing sort of person. The kind of person who when they show up, you get the sense that everything's going to be okay now that they're here.

News channels often interview people in their own homes these days and the people usually decide to set the camera up in front of their bookcase to show how intellectual they are 😀 I've got several Livres de Poche, including a few Maigret books which are short and simple, perfect for someone whose French skills are as bad as mine!

I love Murakami. Have you read The Wind Up Bird Chronicals? BTW “Cyrano” came out last year starring Peter Dinklage. There is also the 1987 Steve Martin comedy “Roxanne” which I recommend.
