22:15 That dial is to choose the sound source and direction for the microphone. You have it set to Stereo mode which uses the left and right channels of the microphone, ideal for ASMR. If you were to use that same microphone for something different like podcasting, you'd consider turning the dial to a different setting; it's got different settings for different uses. 22:43 That volume dial only changes the volume for you listening, it doesn't affect the recording.

@@deadlypancake You said eat not cook. So I take it you do eat every night and just order in food. Yea I do cook every night after work because it's just called getting on with it to take care of myself, it's a fact of life. Just get in turn on the oven immediately and while everything is going do other stuff that needs completing in the house. Once everything is done then I can go chill and do whatever. These videos are lightly edited, she's spending 5hrs recording the footage (extra to be taken out) and let's says 8hrs to edit, even though I stated it's just a lightly edited video. That's 13hrs. That's 1 shift and a little for some people and 1 and a half with a slight bit more for most. The ROI is insane for these videos and that's why she does them. Those numbers are definitely bloated in my example to give more leeway to her

great vid Jules 💚💚 this was a great idea to do lofi asmr. I think more vids like this would be cool. I'm glad school is going well, even though you're quite busy 😄 I like your outfit and that strawberry thing you showed. as far as creativity, don't worry if you feel like it gets a little repetitive. I think many asmrtists fall into that way of thinking as they believe viewers might get bored, but I think it's actually pretty cool to go back to old video ideas and recreate them and add some different things to it. I think some asmr with slime and glass tapping would be nice. and water bottle spraying sounds is a classic trigger. some of the stuff you did in that 2.5 hour vid was amazing. the kalimba comes to mind. so yeah, maybe you could do some vids with some of those unique items and triggers. I've been watching asmr since 2015 and I love the blue yeti mic. it's honestly the perfect mic for picking up sounds. but I don't even know what all the settings do 😂 I think one setting is for binaural audio, and one is stereo? and there's 2 others I think. not sure if that volume knob is for you or us. there's gotta be a tutorial out there somewhere though 😁
