Imagine if you will: When the two years is up, and the father is on his death bed, the listener is there, humming a tune the father would sing to them whenever they were sad or afraid… and the dad hums along one last time. And for the first time, the listener experiences a vast of many emotions. Loss. Depression. Sadness. After the funeral, they’re there for their mother as promised, doing whatever they can to cheer her up. And every night before bed, the listener plays through their memory data of every memory they have of their father. Though they miss him greatly, they know he’ll always be there. But in the now, 2 years before, they want to do everything they can to have the best memories with their father and mother. To make everything worthwhile as a family. No matter what.

Plot twist: he ends up dying but maybe come back to life and something bad happens to our mom and years later we find our dad but we don’t know it’s him so we end up venting about how we broke that promise we had to keep her safe and feel like we failed him But anyways I loved the new video the flashback made me cry 🥲

I actually started crying about 30 seconds before he realized we were crying. 2 years ago, I had a very close call with my dad. He was in the hospital for months. Luckily, he’s ok now but because of the experience I developed severe ocd and my anxiety only got worse. I’m going to therapy for it now but god it still gets bad. Tonight wasn’t a very good night for me but you made it so much better. Thank you so much ❤️

Certain diseases run in my family on my father's side...this hit really close to home. Way more than I was expecting. This is a fear I face every day. And it is something that's very real for a lot of people. Not nearly enough take it seriously enough to cherish their people. Thanks for putting this out there so people can remember to show their loved ones they care. Edit: okay I was struggling not to cry the whole time. But the memory playback got me. I don't cry easily. So well done with both the writing and the acting. Edit: wait...mechanical tyrant...mechanical...do we become the tyrant?

I like to think that because cerabelius is a robot he can't physically cry but he can make the sound of somone crying (as in he don't produce tears) so the dad has to rely on his son's sound and body language alone.

...damn it GB, you made me do the impossible...you got me to cry while hugging my cellphone. You...you know...one thing I wished parents would talk with their kids...sometimes...even if it’s sad but...talking about Death and about what it is...it helps. It's something that hangs over everyone and well, kids aren't as dense as we think I mean heck we all used to be kids. Sooner or later...kids will learn about death and...better to learn how to adapt to grieving and accepting...and valuing the memories of the good times...right?
