So excited to share my herbal medicine hobby with you guys :) I’m a beginner and having lots of fun with it. It’s been really cool to make stuff myself from home, and have it heal my eczema when nothing else from the store could. My next hobby video is gonna be a show and tell of the seeds I have that I’ll be planting this year for my garden and greenhouse! :)

Madi if you powder your herbs first in a coffee grinder you’ll get a much more potent tincture, increasing the surface area of your herb. You will have to use a finer straining technique tho to get the smaller bits out. Lots of layers of cheesecloth normally do the trick. Or a Büchner vacuum funnel.

Madi you may want to consider helichrysum EO, Lavender EO, extra-virgin coconut oil, and a touch of castor oil. Great for skin irritations.

Yes I can! That’s so sweet of you! I’ve done two different recipes, one is just taking the oil I made in this video and then adding beeswax to it to make a salve. The other is slightly more complicated with Shea and cocoa butter :)

Personally I really enjoy this type of thing especially outside of ASMR. Things like canning and herbal gardening stuff or just really niche things that most people, myself included, don't know much about interests me. And when they are complicated mysterious and rewarding thats even better.
