if you want to get a laptop, i suggest picking up a credit card with a sign on bonus. for example, a best buy credit card will give you 10% your first purchase at best buy and 5% in rewards for every purchase forward. they also offer a 2 year payment plan with 0 interest if you didn't want to pay the mac in full. also the mac you're looking at getting seems a little bit overkill, you can get the 14 inch pro for 1500 right now and with the card sign up you can get it for 1350 in payments. just my take on this :)

But on the good person issue: the way I know that my husband is someone I really respect (whose values align with mine) is that if he gives me advice, I often take it.
