one of the places you went in turkey was in fact a mosque, the text you read was the ministry of that city, and i think the watermark looking thing was also about the ministry the second one you visited in Istanbul was Zeyrek Mosque, close to my house!! i actually have been there 🥳 the old houses are probably from ottoman empire (100+ years old) and the view from the other side of the mosque is amazing, there is a cafe there, you can see sea and landmarks of Istanbul. thank you for including turkey 🫶🇹🇷
