What a cute book. As a child, I loved ghost stories and books about the paranormal, and my children loved them too. Thank you for the introduction to this literature through a fantastic ASMR video!

Something I enjoy the most in your videos is your slow pacing. Your use of silences and pauses. I think for this one it was a bit rushed. Love all of your videos always!

No better way to fall asleep than SRP reading me a bedtime story. The visual ASMR is lovely in this, with all the pointing, tracing and slow hand movements.

I'm not too far from pendle hill and we traced our ancestry back to the 1300s around pendle hill. We have walked up pendle hill so many times throughout my lifetime and I always felt so at home in pendle and the surrounding areas. This was before we had found the ancestry link. My partner always says it explains alot about me 😂🧙

We have this book!! My son adores the spooky and weird. It is slightly annoyingly too large for any of our bookshelves though, other than that I would highly recommend it.

I saw that Most Haunted episode when they went up Pendle Hill in around 2004. It was very eventful and spooky. Me and a mate went up Pendle Hill in 2010. Bizarrely, there was a Mexican restaurant on the hill. I don't know if it's still a Mexican restaurant. It was so out of place being on the hill. We went in for a few pints and there were pictures on the walls to do with Mexico, like pictures of bullfighting. It was hard to believe we were on Pendle Hill. Although when we looked out the windows we could see sheep outside grazing on the grass.

I'm from Pendle and our ancestry includes one of the executed "witches", Alice Nutter. We've had roots in the same 5mile radius since Henry VIII (which is as far as we managed to trace). Pendle Hill is one of my favourite places in the whole world ❤

Hee! I love this. Most of my pets are named after monsters/cryptids. I have a ball python named Llorona. I have to point out that in Spanish the ll makes a y sound, so it’s Yorona.

We have very scary monsters in our mythology, but with their own philosophy, something like that. Кощей бессмертный Koschei the immortal, Баба Яга Baba Yaga, Колобок Kolobok, Соловей разбойник nightingale the robber)))But I love Blade, Bloodrayne, hellboy)))

Noticeable absence of two infamous spooky characters from North America- the Thunderbird and the Headless Horseman. Perhaps the next edition of the book will correct this oversight.

@JrTheDragon01
@JrTheDragon01 7 ай бұрын
The golem is associated with Judaism, but not specifically Israel. This book probably puts it in the Czech Republic because one of the most well-known tales of a golem involves a rabbi in Prague constructing one to protect his community against antisemitic attacks and pogroms.
