I have seen people so oblivious to their surroundings that they actually got up during take off talking on their phone....needless to say it was funny to watch them tumble to the floor.

They don't really have an effect. If cell phone signals bothered airplane electronics anyone flying would be in a ton of trouble. It's more to remove the distraction so people pay attention to the safety protocols.

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH I heard that plane number, hahahaha! This is beautiful, Maria! I have just started, but I can already tell I'll love it. Before I knew that ASMR videos were a thing, I used to look for videos of flight attendants, because I found their mime movements and soft voices would trigger me in real life. Unfortunately, the only thing that came close was a Wii controller (I think) parody that I can no longer find. Flight Attendant role plays aren't especially common in our genre, so I am often happy to see when one is created. I was ecstatic to see you made this.

When I went to Scotland 5 years ago, I remember the flights home were so long that I’d been up for 23 hours solid cause I couldn’t sleep on the plane, and by the time I got home I was so tired. I remember when I finally got to be in my bed, I’d been on flights so long that my body thought it was still on a plane. That + insomnia = much trouble sleeping, and it made me feel delirious and sick. I remember I found this video and it helped me trick my brain into finally resting, playing into the feeling that my body was still in motion/on a plane, and helped me get the rest I so desperately needed. 💖

Nothing to be afraid of when flying! Just think about the basic principles of flight. The huge engines produce thrust which overtakes drag. This causes air to flow over and under the wings. Aircraft wings are shaped in a foil so the airflow over the wings is fast (high pressure) and the airflow under the wing is slow (low pressure) in turn creating lift which overtakes gravity and boom you're flying :)

Before I ever knew what ASMR was, I remember a weird intense wave of sleepiness and relaxation would just wash over me for some reason every time I was taking a test in school and our teacher would slowwwwly walk around the class by every desk keeping an eye on us during the test - complete silence except for a the slow clicking of her heels & those light sounds of the movements of someone standing close by. I've been watching ASMR for 3 years now and this is the only video I've ever found that recreated this weirdly specific trigger (@6:59) even just for a bit :)
